Just out of curiosity do any Eds or ITKs know if there has been interest in Curtis Jones
Just wondering if we turn down offers or there is no interest
For me he isn't a Liverpool quality player.

I don't intend this to be confrontational but I genuinely don't understand the amount of criticism he gets. A local lad who has multiple seasons being a steady pair of hands in midfield. He has been better than Alexis and Grab so far this season in my eyes (and I love them both)

Agree with Skeletor, teams need players like Curtis, dedicated, versatile, fiercely loyal, not going to rock the boat if he’s not picked every week (like some) .
You need players like him, they’re worth their weight in gold.
The club should not entertain any bids for him and I don’t think he’d leave anyway. He’s where he wants to be.

Why would we even consider selling him? He dwells on the ball sometimes but other than that he always gives his best. He doesn't play act like Macalister. He may not be a world beater but is still an England international that can be trusted if he starts or comes of the bench.
I would hate to see him go.

On one hand people are complaining about lack of depth in the squad and then on the other homegrown players is being wanted sold. Hard to make sense of it. And Curtis Jones is definitely good enough to be a rotational option. Right now he is even one of the few players who is undroppable based alone on desire and work rate.

Last I heard he and the club were looking at new contract options, very much doubt he leaves in the next couple of windows. Would say longer but you never know in football.

Curtis has def stepped up This year. Clearly trying more progressive passes, is not holding onto it as much as previously and working hard on field. Not world class but solid option.

Curtis gets the local player / British player tax.
He will always be critiqued against the ideal prime potential of himself. So he’ll never reach a standard good enough in the eyes of many fans unless he hits Stevie G / TAA levels.
