This season we've been dire, I don't think he gets a big job. Mid table German side or one of the big ones in the Netherlands. Maybe Celtic? He looks a spent force already.

There will be a much bigger job for him available than going back to Holland if he leaves. His current resume is stronger than Alonso, Iroala, Glasner etc. His style would be received better in Spain. wouldn't rule out Barcelona move. He is far too honest for divas in Madrid.

Just astounding stuff really. Guehi is entitled to look after number 1 - no issues personally. VVD has been playing something like 4 years in a row, every minute of every game - who replaces him when he inevitably gets injured? ??♂️ Not to mention the "inconsistent " Konate, the "season is over" Bradley and likely losing Dom in midfield while subing as right back.
Oh well, maybe super Luke in the darts can give me some joy ?.

I get Alonso has been removed from Real and Slot's stock maybe higher as a manager who win the Premier league, but i just think Alonso is more suited as a manager to us for a number of reasons. Alonso wants to play fast moving, high tempo football and has more personality than Slot. I know he's a Liverpool legend, but I am trying to subjectively look at him with this mantle and what he brings as a manager, as I think that is what he should be and not a coach.
I don't rate Stevie as a manager, but he could be a good coach to work under/ alongside Alonso. Personally, I think these two would attract talent back to Liverpool and players wanting to come to us.
