For those ITK, will today's bad defeat change things. Top 4 going to difficult and surely that should now warrant a change of head coach now?
24 Jan 2026 20:32:35
Top 5 get UCL this year so he has to get that at least.
24 Jan 2026 20:37:31
Yes.
Waiting on someone to green flag, looks like it's the end.
Ta.

For what it's worth, after watching this game tonight it seemed clearer, if we play offensively in the prem even against average sides we will concede because our defence just isn't good enough.
Arne is struggling, that much is clear. I don't think he's out of his depth exactly but there's no doubt it's difficult times for him and he can't do right for doing wrong.
The players aren't helping though. And for someone to say the likes of Macca aren't playing for him, well how about he plays for the supporters then, or for his personal pride. The reality is he's just not a good enough player, and using Arne as an excuse for his poor form is laughable.
24 Jan 2026 20:44:57
No guarantee that 5th will get CL @keegan.
24 Jan 2026 20:48:02
I can't take it that United may have a chance to leap frog us! Wtf.
24 Jan 2026 21:06:02
Our next fixtures are awful. We aren't getting top 5 with slot.
24 Jan 2026 21:14:18
Not a hope of finishing in the top 10.
24 Jan 2026 21:20:56
Keegans Perm - We likely drop to 6th tomorrow, with Newcastle up next and City to follow there's every chance we drop another 6 points and end up 10th or worse. There's no chance Slot can survive that, never mind the end of the season. He's going to have to pull some rabbit out the hat now.
24 Jan 2026 21:30:05
Beyond a joke now. Excuse after excuse. Slot clearly lost the team's support some time ago. Anyone checked if Edwards, Hughes et al are still alive. Run out of reasons why nothing is being done on or off the pitch.
24 Jan 2026 22:05:18
Is this the real Carra can we confirm? I'm really hoping it's the end.
24 Jan 2026 22:22:36
Cheers carra, it's more than slot that needs to go, i was hoping he'd turn it around but doesn't appear like he can but he's not the only one, whoever thought we didn't need guehi needs to go too.
24 Jan 2026 22:28:19
Top brass ain't happy, so I've heard. Dunno if that means they will over rule Edwards and the STC tho.
24 Jan 2026 22:31:05
Ta Carra. Here's hoping it happens I'm not sure I can watch the work Klopp did be undone and ruined anymore.
24 Jan 2026 22:44:07
No one responding to Carra? Looks like we all have ITK fatigue.
24 Jan 2026 23:08:10
Carra, they should green light getting rid of Hughes as well.
24 Jan 2026 23:21:40
Not that I agree with it, and I'm just a fan with nothing to substantiate this, but my gut feeling is that today's result changes absolutely nothing and that Slot continues until the end of the season. If he doesn't make Champions League, he might be replaced at that point like King Kenny was in 2012.
24 Jan 2026 23:41:26
Its a bad watch, like how have we become so bad.
25 Jan 2026 00:00:45
I'll be genuinely sad if Slot leaves, because I think last season he proved he can take this team to a very high level. We played great football and we won the league.
I don't know what happened, but this season with the signings we made we should've been better on paper. Instead the performances and results have been atrocious, and honestly, a change might be the best thing for everyone at this point.
I'm sure Jota's death affected the whole group, and we probably should be more patient. A manager who won us the league last year deserves at least that. But that's football — patience is always short.
Hopefully, if Slot does leave, we bring in Xabi Alonso. He would bring fresh ideas and a new atmosphere, which might help everyone.
25 Jan 2026 00:48:15
I thought first 20 minutes we were playing some brilliant football with grav finding wirtz in space but as we've seen too many times we conceded a soft goal again and with vvd being at fault and I also lay some blame to him for second goal for not seeing the space kerkez left behind him, we showed character to get back in the game, this defence is as soft as the Rodgers defence where every corner or set piece we dreaded, even under Klopp there was a period where we were soft and gave away silly goals, not buying a CB is criminal and if it weren't for other teams being so poor we could easily be 10.
25 Jan 2026 06:20:03
Thanks Carra.
The way in reading your post. is that we are waiting for Alonso to say yes (the green flag)
Enough is enough.
25 Jan 2026 08:06:36
Liverpool's form reeks of arrogance, epitomised on pitch by Virgil (great servant though he has been) and not playing a proper 6 in this league is something you can get away with for one season, tops.
Grav was everywhere last night and more often it was Macca quarterbacking; this disrespect to EPL opposition is killing us. Look at our GD conceded 18 more than Arsenal, 1 more than Spurs.
25 Jan 2026 10:40:27
Cheers Carra, it's about time. I saw a stat elsewhere on this page saying we'd only won 5 league games in 4 months. Dreadful form.
