This has been going on for so long now I'd rather the so-called in the knows wouldn't post anything until it's concrete. Been getting our hopes up for months that we are getting rid and clearly not happening til summer by the look of it.

Lets hope it's the correct choice.
Slot seems like a good bloke and will always look back fondly on steering us to the league win, but this season has really exposed him as a manager and he looks like a rabbit in headlights. FWIW I do think it has been heightened by the fact we won the league that makes this season look even worse but it has truly been a turgid and pathetic watch all season.
The powers that be need to be held accountable too, both Hughes and Edwards in that regard. Edwards appointed Hughes and in turn Slot and the league win proves that decision was correct, but now after this season we need to be decisive and cut throat in our approach, as missing out on UCL football after the money spent and off the back of a title winning season is quite frankly unacceptable.
On a positive note, I do think any manager looking at this Liverpool squad will be licking their lips at the prospect of coaching. We have a core group of extremely talented young players, we obviously have a few also in their twilight years but if we can be shrewd in the summer window and target the right players this is a team right there ready to challenge again.
I personally think Xabi is the man for the job imo, I could be wrong but I think he is made to manage us. I saw a load of people saying his style is also slow but I implore you to go back and watch some of the football his Leverkusen team was playing, the failure at Madrid was more down to the players than him as you can see that has even continued with Arbeloa.
IMO we need to look at replacing the wide players specifically and bringing in aggressive runners with pace to burn. We signed one of the most creative midfield talents on the planet yet when he looks forward he has no runners to play to so effectively you stifle his output. We also need to target a bit more defensive stability in the middle and get some needle back in the team as I genuinely think one of our biggest issues is the fact we are far to passive in the centre of the park which in turn puts pressure on our backline constantly and also means players like Wirtz have to drop 10/15 yards to help cover which is not ideal.
We saw the same issue when Isak was in the squad, people were complaining about his play which I agree was underwhelming but again because of how we set up we weren't able to keep him in the most threatening positions therefore making it feel like he was isolated.
It has really been a terrible season overall, I pray we can manage to scrape over the line UCL football. But there is also room to be positive about the future, let's hope the big wigs make the correct choices.

Mighty, got no probs with rumours. What I don't like is the people claiming they are ITK and being wrong for months on end. I may as well pretend I have a source at the club and post false stuff and pretend it's gospel.
If you aren't ITK, I'd prefer no posts or admit you aren't. I'd rather the 'my best friend's uncle' rumours tbh, at least they are fun and they are equally as accurate.

Brummy. Robbo, VictorGoddam, Ned, Carra are ITK. I'm glad they post what they do. You can clearly see most others are just reposted rumours from wherever, or reworded to make it sound like their own. Just ignore them, and keep an eye out for those I've mentioned.

They're the only ones I put any heed in anyway. And ED01. And you Fields!!????????.I think StanUA has access to good info too, and I think there's a very seldom poster, unsure of name and perhaps from Germany??? They posted about Wirtz and I think Isak last summer which proved to be correct.
