Wolves chose to let his loan deal from Porto expire. Vitinha was offered to Wolves for circa £20 million, went back to Porto, and PSG bought Vitinha for circa £34 million a year later. Sounds like something Hughes and Edwards would have enacted also?

The type of player we are crying out for in midfield tbh and for £35-40m would be a pretty decent buy. Would certainly add a bit of physicality, intensity and bite to the midfield. Bring.

This is more like it. Joao Gomes is hardworking, underrated in his play, and a decent reader of the game, and, first and foremost, he doesn't mind sitting a bit deeper, something we lack in the squad, a naturally defensive minded player. I would be all over this as a signing, feel as if it would be a good value for money signing. ??

And where he will be playing - share please. As far as i can see, one of Macca/Grav/Jones should be sold in order this lad even to be thinking for first team. Obviously Macca was garbage last season and can be the biggest candidate, but still we need verification that someone even wants the lad

@shughes, I don't actually know about Diomande as all I've seen of him was his games during the WC. If the scouts believe he's good enough for us, then I believe we should sign him. It certainly seems as if we're doing our utmost to do so.
Rayan looked good to me since he arrived at Bournemouth and I would definitely welcome his arrival if he was a possibility. Regardless of either of those, we need a proper RB to support them on the RHS. Whomever that may be.
