Hi Diddly Ho,
Quansah would like to return to Liverpool, but as things stand, the club have no plans to bring him back.
Things can always change, but from what I’ve been told, his team approached LFC after Arsenal made an enquiry a couple of weeks ago.
As of this week, Liverpool’s stance remains that a return isn’t on the agenda.
No update on Jones’ progression at the moment. It’ll be interesting to see what, if any, involvement he has tomorrow as an indicator to where those final deals are at.

I know this is the rumour site and not banter, but imagine if Jones was converted to a Controller type (Regista) ala Busquets mixed Fabinho, wouldn't that solve our number 6 issue? I know he loves to hog on the ball and delays, but that's how Pirlo was when he played the 10, and yes Pirlo has a majestic wand of a right foot. If Jones can remodel his game, making wall passes (one twos), focus on keeping the tempo, being the 3rd man option for our midfielders, circulate possession and stealing the ball like a Fabinho Octopus.
Surely he'd have a chance becoming vital to Liverpool, England and maybe win the Ballon D'Or.
Sorry, was just imagining since we're at this point on Jones leaving.

Redkai, this is a wind up, right? Jones' range of passing and quality of passing is fairly limited, and, as you acknowledged yourself (what I think is his biggest problem is), he's way too slow to make the pass.
Comparing him to Pirlo is just wrong. Pirlo looked like he spent loads of time on the ball because he saw the picture so quickly, and Jones takes loads of time on the ball because he can't see the picture quick enough.

Was wrong to put Pirlo's name in the same post as Jones, but yeah. Jones wouldn't even lace Pirlo's or Busquest's shoes, let alone Fabinho's.
Just wanted to tickle and let my imagination run wild. He doesn't need to have the passing range of Pirlo.
Just more brain power and game intelligence, like Busquets, would do him extremely good. Simple one twos, recycle and keep the ball or tackle when we don't have the ball.
Too much to ask though. He seems to have his head in the clouds.
