Do we know what's holding up Rio's contract?

Not sure, but his current runs out in 2028 so we do have time. Would be great if it's done before the season finishes.

Do we even know that it is being held up?

There is no hold up its just negotiations, it will happen.

We went through this with Trent and Konate recently lol. They were meant to be nailed on along the way ?.

Wokka, we also had it with VVD and Salah not so long ago and they both signed.
It's almost like every contract negotiation is unique. eh?

Trent and Konate were over 23 so this is different.

Zed. I couldn't agree more. My point is nothing is nailed on. Let's hope he signs but he may not. Nobody knows for certain he will.

Fully expecting him to sign a new deal with us.
Diddly out.

I feel better that Ned has said it'll be alright!

We've been trying to order a new printer but they've not been getting delivered. The lads were on live chat to Amazon customer services for ages and we ended up just having to ring Jeff straight. Turns out Richard Hughes mixed up the correspondence address while was working both jobs over the summer. Explains why the DPD bloke turned up all confused the other day looking for a Mr O Watkins
Nightmare but it's been sorted now, thankfully.

@OP, what date and time were you expecting that the contract would have been signed?
