Question for Ed01 if you are about.
I'll always remember you tipping us off about how good a player Firmino was during his time at Hoffenheim or Son when he was at Leverkusen.
Ever since, I've always kept an eye out for your suggestions of players you'd like to see at Liverpool. Are there any players out there under the radar that you'd like to see Liverpool sign albeit, I am sure it is much harder to pick players who could improve our current starting 11.
I've been an avid visitor to this forum for many years and I just wanted to say Ed01, I love the articles and I always find your analysis spot on. The match reviews being a particular highlight. Keep up the good work.
{Ed001's Note - first off thank you mate, I really appreciate that. As for the players, well the one that stands out would have been Malang Sarr, who Chelsea picked up, for his long term potential. Other than that, it is difficult to see anyone who would improve the team, I mean which position even needs strengthening right now? The only thing I can see would be a centre-back (until sales happen) but there are not many around of real defensive quality, so you are looking at ones like Bastoni of Inter, maybe Zagadou, Kounde or Pau Torres, that are young and can be improved.}

United are interested we have scouted and this player has the personal blessing and recommendation of Roberto Baggio. Bobby is also giving him extra one on one training sessions regarding on pitch awareness.
Think pirlo and Alonso passing but with sounness mobility. If he works his defensive game he will be the best player Italy have produced since the 90s.

With the club with no money and other clubs scouting our players
I. E Mane and Van Dyke and Salah offering himself to other clubs. Do you see a first team sale any time soon?

Ed001s match reviews and player picks, general comments are excellent. I hope you have time for the match reviews this season coming - I appreciate a lot of ours were the same last season! Maybe some of the key matches time permitting.
However, the information provided by Ed002 is really priceless. Within minutes of the Mane reply yesterday 'well respected' journalists report the same. Oh and the tips on well thought of youngsters are well appreciated.

@akira have you watched many games involving Joel Matip? Judging from your uninformed comment I'd wager you probably haven't. If you had, you'd know that Matip is our second best defender and statistically up there with some of the best defenders to have played in the premier league. Presently, Nat Phillips is not anywhere near his level.

Why shouldn't we blame injuries @Mightyreds? It's a statement of fact.
It's no secret that our wider squad is weak. With so many first team players out, getting good results is always going to be tougher.
