Ronaldo contract getting terminated. "Sneaky bid for him" incoming. Apparently our revenge for Owen. Sorry- couldn't resist. We all know there will be a media running that story by weeks end.

Can’t really see after this interview who would want to go near him.

Lisbon methinks. Or maybe bray. wanderers. Yeah, we’d take him there but he’ll have to wash his own gear. I think that’s fair.

I think terminating his contract would be a mistake, big clubs should act as big clubs and make an example of one of the biggest world stars. Are United still a big club though?! Haha
They should fine him for a few weeks, possibly sue him, but most importantly keep him, have him train with the under 21s, he obviously did the interview to get fired hence the time it was released, don't do exactly what he wants you to do, make him suffer, that would destroy the guy.

I met him years ago, nice fella but It was obvious even then his ego is out of this world.
It’s a shame to see his career end like this though, being a pure spoiled brat is taking the sheen off what’s been a very impressive career.

My feelings towards him have changed since the loss of his child. So I reserve my right to judge him. Hopefully he finds peace.

Makes me laugh when people say how well Ten Haag has handled it. ? Handled it by hiding behind his Couch saying F all.

{Ed025's Note - to be fair to ETH I thought he handled the situation well LFC8. Showed him great respect but he is nobody’s fool mate as you will see in the near future..

Talentless people with egos are worse.

Not excusing his behaviour (as I literally have zero emotion on it) and not even seen any of the interview but I doubt him and Messi would have remained at the top for as long as they have (outlasted every other player in history) without their egos and narcissism.

Well ed25 hope u keeping well? What do u make of ten haag? I don't know much about him, seems good guy in fairness and I wouldn't have much time for that crowd! I geniunely don't know what to make of him, good r bad.

{Ed025's Note - I’m good thanks digger and hope you are too. ETH is a good man you know mate. He has impressed all the staff and supporters since his introduction and is beginning to turn United around. It was a bit of a mess that he took over and he’s realistic enough to know it will take a lot more time to make them challengers. He’s also a disciplarian and I think he will be the best thing that has happened to them in many a year..

ETH has a decent chance of making Utd great again. Let’s hope the Board / owners screw it up for him if he’s trophy less in 2-3 years.

{Ed025's Note - I hope he does well for them WM. Not too well of course ?

Has them playing the exact same football as Olè for me Ed! Getting an easy ride because they're above us, once proper order is restored his head'll be on the block.

{Ed025's Note - I think he might surprise you Jude. It may take a couple of years because he inherited some Turkish delight but I think he will be just what the doctor ordered for them mate..

Ed25.yeah he seems good fella in fairness, threw in2 a difficult situation with a few troublesome characters but in saying that maybe best time to takeover man utd, couldn't be any worse than they where last season. What about Everton? I thought they would've been doing better, but goals big prob, dcl v good player but far too injury prone to bank on him. Bit like keita r ox.

{Ed025's Note - we really are awful digger. I was hoping for a lot better to be honest but the whole club is toxic mate. I like frank but if thinks don’t improve sharpish he will be the next out of the revolving door..

ETH should of let ronaldo leave in the summer told him he's not part of the plans none get a young striker in and start building

Don't know how he handled it well he handled it poorly soon as he public said he wanted to keep Ronnie.

{Ed025's Note - some of the decisions were out of his hands dezy. There has been a lot of influence from a certain ex manager of theirs but ETH is his own man and I expect him to take them forward with aplomb mate..

Personally, I didn't see anything wrong with what Ronaldo said in the interview. I watched the full thing and thought it was quite measured and reasonable. It's all things that former players, pundits and fans have been saying about the club and it's owners anyways. so when a current player offers inside knowledge of the same things that lot have been complaining and they are just basing their opinions off of what they see or hear on the telly, I find that quite laughable tbh.

My own thoughts are that manU made the mistake to bring him back. wrong timeline for him and obviously them. If they had brought him back with a plan to do something effective over these 2-3 years then it would have made sense. But it just seemed like a marquee signing for the sake of it, kind of like how loads of people on here want FSG to make lol.

I support Ronaldo anyways, and hope that he finds a good option after manU to see out his peak years. Whether you like him personally or not, which would seem to weird to me given we don't know the fullah, he is one of the greats of the history of the game. And the unfortunate sequence of events for the last year and a half is a really tragic way to spend his time. I am sure he would have thought he was coming back to compete and then saw things from the 2000s still there lol.

Is it just me who thinks Ronaldo is being very clever - he’s basically forcing United’s hand. If they terminate his contract it will certainly give credence to his ‘victimised’ story, even if it all just a made up pile of excrement. He get’s what he wants ( rid of his contract), will undoubtedly claim a shed load of compensation and will look, at least to the gullible, that he was telling the truth about United, collectively, picking on him.

I’m still hoping ten Hag resigns over this and Gareth Southgate takes over following getting England to the semis, then subsequently dragging United to relegation after taking no more points for the remainder of the season.

In regards of ETH improving UTD aren't they one point worse this season compared to last?

{Ed025's Note - sometimes stats dont tell the full story IDLLK, i know you are hoping he falls flat on his face mate and im no united fan...its just my opinion..

18.) 19 Nov 2022
19 Nov 2022 16:51:32
ETH needs time and a free hand to mould the team into playing his way. He may get the first BUT not the second with the shambles happening above him as well as with Old Fergie still butting his head in from time to time overruling the manager’s choices, imo.

Wassa and WDW are completely right. Ronaldo and his PR team simply decided to make sure he doesn't have to return to ManU once the Wold Cup is over. Piers Morgan himself has said that he conducted the interview because "Ronaldo asked him to". And I don't see how ManU can keep him given that not only has he gone after the manager, but to ensure the target is hit, he's gone after board members and ex players too.

You wonder if he cares about what he is doing to his legacy with that club? Doesn't feel like he cares much at all. Serious error, in my opinion, all this. There's nothing that voicing all that in public could not have been done in private behind closed doors. 500K a week and it's still not enough to keep someone quiet and say and do things through the right channels.
