YEEEEEESS ROOORREEEE!

15,17 and the playoff, Jonesy!

The man is a tormented genius, I just hope he can push on and dominate now as his talent deserves!

Jaysus he nearly threw it away a few times. Glad Rory has won it in the end but feel like Rose deserved it after how he played today.

Yesterdays sport as a Liverpool fan and hoping Rory would finally rid himself of the grand slam monkey on his shoulders, has taken about 10 years off my life!

Incredible drama but would he have done it any other way?

Have to feel for Rose too with 10 birdies but I hope he has one more major win in him. However yesterday was Rorys day and to somehow win with 4 double bogeys over the weekend is incredible.

He should have rotated his clubs more. Fatigue crept in but he got over the line eventually.

If Rory is in this position again from now on he wins easy the pressure of claiming that green jacket and grand slam made him change his game yesterday and every time he did he messed up. A bit like us when we go in the lead and sit back does not suit our game and lay ups don’t suit Rory’s.

I was playing a comp here in Queensland today as the Masters was on. My playing partner was live streaming on his ipad as we played. We were finishing our round as the playoff hole started. Our time of play co-incided, needless to say our scores didn't.

I don't understand the craze over this "sport". Let's dress up like it's 50-75 years ago and go to a vast piece of reserved land. Take wooden sticks and dimpled balls with you. Once there, hit the ball as hard as you can. And then walk and go look for it. Once found, hit it again with the stick and walk looking for it again. And do it 16 more times. Until you see a little hole and get your dimpled ball into that little hole.

Exciting, tiring and definitely nerve racking. ?.

{Ed025's Note - Mark Twain described it as as "a good walk spoilt" ArAy, but i just love it mate..

Watch the ryder cup aray. Guaranteed to stir the juices of competition- even if you don’t consider it a sport. I wasn’t a massive fan until valderma in the late 90’s. Since then its compelling viewing everytime its on.
