Can we stop all the negative bs about next season, needing reinforcements and Trent and focus on number 20? Fans are so fickle these days, what slot has managed in his first season has been brilliant, and I look forward to getting blind drunk and watching the parade bus going past.

LFC need to bring players in if they are to challenge for title 21. Man City will not have another year as bad as this one, if Arsenal sign a striker which i think they will and not lose so many big players during the season. Chelsea players will be a year older and Newcastle and Villa will improve. If we fail to improve the squad we will struggle to finish in the Champions League place. We can all see that the current players are exhausted and if we were neck and neck with anyone we would really struggle to clinch number 20.

Personally, not arsed about next season. It will be what it will be and people can say whatever they want (as is their right) BUT that is the reality. For me, Im too busy enjoying the season and what type of celebration is waiting for me should we beat Spurs. That's all Im focused on right now.
Also me or other people saying the above, does NOT mean that suddenly, we are ignoring the real work that needs to be on the squad in terms of recruitment and retooling of the squad itself cos we do have tons of work to do. Multiple things can be correct at the same time.
I just choose to focus on the huge positives of the season and living in the moment and will cross that bridge (retooling, recruitement etc. ) when I get there, not a single nano second before. Too many great things going on in the here and now.

Salah, for me you’re the biggest non entity on here, going on about believing and all the nonsense you sprout. Then when the title is in the bag you start shooting from the hip with your nonsense. At what point did I say we didn’t need new players? Or that the club screwed up with some contracts etc? I didn’t, this is a monumental moment for lfc with number 20 in the bag, why can’t people enjoy it and see what the summer brings instead of acting like a bunch of two year olds crying over “we haven’t signed anyone yet” “Hughes is a joke etc” grown men acting like 2 year olds, it’s embarrassing.

I fully think people should pull the handbrake on this and that signing and just enjoy the moment. Someone literally said “we won’t win 21 if…. ” And we haven’t even had a second to enjoy 20 yet.
Yeah it’s a battle of opinions and this is mine. The time to start hating the squad and calling for players, managers, back room staff and the kitchen lady’s heads can wait until after we’ve celebrated #20.

At the moment nothing matters more than number 20, next season will be next season, I'm not worrying about it now. I've been a Pool supporter since 85, I'm 47 now. Plenty of ups, soooo many downs. Time to relish in this win, they don't come around very often. So let's milk this one for as much as we can, because the future ain't guaranteed. UFTR.

And for the record, I didn’t suddenly start speaking up once the title was won. I’ve been saying the same things since last summer - get it right next time or don't bother trying because you're just making yourself look silly at this point.
Also, the irony of someone throwing a tantrum over people sharing their views and then calling them two year olds? That’s gold. If anyone here’s embarrassing themselves, mate… well, look no further ??.

That said, on this very forum on many, many occasions, people have said we didn’t sign anybody last summer.
