"I love Liverpool, this club has been my life bla bla bla and running your contract down so that you can go to real madrid for free .
Us not getting fee for a 26 year old player entering the peak time of his career is criminal
A PR interview to fool the fans.

It's disgusting. Him and Madrid are made for eachother. I'll boo him at the parade.
05 May 2025 12:36:45
Im sure he will cry for you booing him.
05 May 2025 12:50:50
Interesting time for him to announce it what with a home game coming up next.
Wonder what this now means for the last 3 games and Trent minute wise.
Real will need to pay a fee if they want him in the first summer window for the World Club Cup. Wonder if the club will hold firm on that.

Man didn't even get booed last week when we won the title, of all things so good luck with booing him during the parade.
Im sure he will be straining his ears trying to hear you through the incredible amount of noise that parade atmosphere will bring.
05 May 2025 13:27:14
He got booed, Oli.
05 May 2025 13:37:17
The parade is a party. Enjoy it. Cheer and sing for the other players.
JK I reckon Trent might be the one left out this weekend just like Grav was yesterday.
05 May 2025 13:42:22
Oli he got booed when he came on as sub after injury. only that we were cheering for the team with us as champions that you mustn't have noticed . plus most fans are only bothered he's leaving on a free. but while your wiping your tears away. remember this Liverpool born n bred footballer who his own club turned him into a professional footballer n multi millionaire, ran his contract down n negotiated a way out during our number 20.he's a hypocrite.
05 May 2025 13:43:30
@Trip, there’s still time for us to kidnap him and only give him to Real Madrid when we pay the ransom. He chose not to sign a new contract, nothing more, nothing less.
Big boys calling him names cos he doesn’t want to play anymore is a teensy, weensy bit childish, and in the context of the real world of business and contracts and grown up stuff is ridiculous.
05 May 2025 13:45:58
Politely applaud him for his efforts, but it’s the team that will be celebrated on the parade. No one will care about Trent enough to boo him after another 3 weeks.
05 May 2025 13:48:39
Gotta laugh at grown men being so butthurt over a player leaving.
05 May 2025 13:50:05
Bench him for the next 3 games.
He can go on the bus parade, but on the lower deck.
05 May 2025 14:00:03
The club should have sold him last year. All thos who say you can't force the player to move. Ask Daniel Levy.
05 May 2025 14:29:40
"Daniel, can you force a player to leave? ". "no, ye cant". "ok, thanks Daniel". Trent wouldn't have left last year as the only way this move was happening was if Real were getting him on a free.
05 May 2025 15:09:47
@House, which bit of ‘you can’t just sell a contracted player if they don’t want to leave’ are you unable to understand?
Check back on this forum to August / September back in 2023 - I went over to England for my dad’s funeral and someone I’ve known for years who works for the club told me at the time that Trent was learning Spanish. He wasn’t / isn’t a decision maker at the club but he reckoned it was common knowledge.
It might be Trent has honoured his contract but may have been seriously considering the move for a couple of years now. It might just be that he loves Liverpool FC but wants to do something else whilst he is marketable and it might also be a life choice - a decision to move to another country to experience a different way of life. He wouldn’t be the first to do that an$ he won’t be the last.
To me the above sounds a lot more plausible than him seemingly wanting to p1ss off a group of allegedly grown-ups after spending 20 years of his life at Liverpool.

Flash you keeping saying Butthurt in your posts . is there something you want to get off your chest.
05 May 2025 15:44:24
But for Trent's natural ability and dedication he could have been an also ran and told as an teenager by LFC "on your bike son you are not good enough". I can't remember the exact details but TAA was setting up some form of charity for academy lads facing such a future.
So to say he owes everything to Liverpool is nonsense - it was 50-50 the club and him. I truly wish all the best for the future.
