So as per reports We let the world know we will pay 120m for isak and then bid 70m for ekiteke when frankfurt fully know we have 120m and there ask is a 100
Yea we are not this stupid!

I'm pretty sure that's not how transfer fees are negotiated.

Only the other day Ernest I was in Sainsbury’s buying a bottle of water for £1. As soon as I opened my wallet the cashier said ‘ooh hang on you’ve got about £50 in there! ’
Most expensive bottle of water I’ve ever bought.

Surely we're not that stupid to bid the same amount on Isak as Etiketi you mean? Two different profiles and two different valuations. Anyway, the figures are just made up my the media. Unless you can cite sources direct from the club who have disclosed that info?

I think you're getting you £'s and €'s muddle up too. Talk was that we were ready to offer £120m for Isak, Frankfurt wanted €100m for Ekitike and Newcastle had a £70m offer for him rejected.
I can't imagine that we would also offer £70m knowing that an equivalent had already been rejected. I expect us to go in around the £75m mark which is not too far off the €100m they were after.

The 120 million bid was for a prem proven much more finished article in Isak, rather than than a raw but talented prospect like Etikite.

Robby, that’s same price per litre south uk charge for tap water.
17 Jul 2025 14:41:37
You’ve missed the appropriate currencies out above.
£120m Isak, Frankfurt supposedly looking for £86m (100m euros)
17 Jul 2025 14:50:34
Yeh but if the bottle was 2£ and you tried to haaggle to 1.70€ and guy saw 50$ in your wallet and he knew you super thirsty- he’d toss you out right there.

The more Akira 20 Times posts, the more I think it's not the same Akira who broke the Diaz and Gakpo news before it happened.

If Man U went shopping for a bottle of water, they’d come back with a suspiciously yellow one from a recent music festival and be down £20.
17 Jul 2025 15:38:01
Yet the buyer will only ever pay what they think the product being sold is worth or what’s on the label.
In your example the £2 is the price and that’s what will be paid.
In the Ekitike example the price is 100 euros (release clause) and if we think it’s worth it we’ll pay it. That can’t be raised just because we’ve offered more for another player.
I think you’re just winding us all up for a reaction and it’s working as you surely can’t believe what you’re writing has any credibility.
17 Jul 2025 15:38:43
Akira you post some garbage. What we’re prepared to pay for one player has no impact on the other. You pay what you think the player is worth. This can come down to stature, experience, contract length, add ons etc. if Frankfurt think Ekitite is worth the same as Isak then they’re entitled to that, but they’d be delusional. By your rationale, it’s like Athletico going for Kerkez offer 40m and he doesn’t go. They off 5m for Robbo and we say no, because we know you have 40m to spend on a LB.

Dracred, clearly not with the waffle Im reading from him right now.
