The problem Chelsea have is that a lot of their players are on 8-9 year contracts.
They could easily sit there and take the money then leave on a free in their late 20s.

The figures in this window are insane, my guess would be united and Chelsea strike a deal with Garnacho and Jackson to get round it. But 80m for Jackson makes Wirtz look like the deal of the century.

Ron…. Regarding Chelsea’s FFP swerving 9 year contracts, part of me is wondering what is stopping them ending up with a squad of Winston Bogardes bleeding them dry. There’s potential there to make the Manc bombsquad look manageable. I know that they are not paying the crazy wages that some are but it all adds up. I am genuinely curious, how long can it go on for?
