I was just doing a search of young CBs (as the second one as well as Guehi) and stumbled across Archie Gray at Spurs.
Has anyone watched him play (in games except for against us, like me! )? He seems to have played more at CDM rather than CB, but I wonder if he could be a versatile young option for us?
Normally wouldn't countenance negotiations with the Spuds due to Levy, but if they want Elliot, maybe a deal could be done?
Does anyone rate him as cover for CB?

Primarily a midfielder that had to fill in at CB when they had their injury problems, highly thought of when at Leeds.

Konstantinos Koulierakis is the latest linked young CB. Maybe Carra/ Akira/ Thefields/ Ed001 could confirm or deny our interest?
Gray is more of a RB or DM than a CB. Spurs were just desperate last season for anyone who could tackle to play in their defence.

He is a midfielder who had to play center back because of an injury crisis. Very good midfielder, he has a big future at Spurs and I'm sure they wouldn't want him to leave.

His brother Harry (16) is expected to be a better player but he is a forward.

I'm probably stressing over nothing as we have (probably) Chiesa, Darwin and Tsimi leaving, with only Isak coming in (of the non-HG players) but some of the linked CBs are both over 21 (born before 1 Jan 24) and non-HG so was worried about squad space. Konstantinos Koulierakis, for example, would be classed as over 21 for next season. The YLFP would be fine though!
Like I said, probably stressing over nothing!

He has stagnated and looked very poor in CB for me. Not sure he would be my choice to be honest.

Wonderful player, but mainly used as a CM or RB for England and Leeds. He reminds me of Declan Rice a bit.

The Spurs fans I know don't rate him at all. They've basically decided the 18 year old will never be good enough to play for the mighty Spurs. Too slow and Bergvall is better they say. Forgetting that the guy is so young, can improve massively and has been played out of position all season.

Just gone 19 nd nearly 100 senior appearances for two huge clubs. Hardly stagnated Davey, high high standards.
