I think it’s pretty sad seeing all these posts about certain players being crap etc. are any of you playing football at this level and getting paid millions to do so? I’m certainly not, but what I have experience in is management and driving a team. That is the issue, Slot is not managing the players properly to get the best from them, if he was we would be 100% competing for the league title again. You can’t help poor officiating but what you can control is team fitness, tactics and management, slot clearly has taken his eye of the ball and has started playing some really bizarre tactics with all this slow possession nonsense that’s really not playing to any strength.

Slot should have time to show he has learned be that another 2-3 games I would assume that would be fair, if there is no improvement then it’s time to go. I think we all know slot won’t see out the remainder of the season if this continues and I truly believe he won’t be here next season anyway. But we need to stop bashing all these players like we have the god given right to say they are poor etc when we have never made it close to that level!

Not even Konate? I'm sure we have just about every career field covered on this website. If we perform poorly in our jobs should we expect to be criticized? I know I would be and rightly so.

Poor day at the office but it's in the past let's forget it and get on with the rest of the season a couple of poi ts to make a spoke with my grandson prior to the game regards Mr Oliver being on VAR that something serious against liverpool will happen and was i wrong.

alao robbo was never offside the law states getting the ball or trying to get the ball also it's not offence to be in an offside position unless previous comments also the referee was inconsistent all day long why was mobbing not punished and Mr silva is a wee stirrer of the brown stuff bit worst of all is listening to the crap being spouted from gary neville why does he do so many of our games he talks as much crap as keir starmer?

I agree that he is not getting a consistent tune out of this team. However as fans of any sport we are allowed to critisize individuals performances. I'm not an F1 driver but can say Hamilton isn't the driver he used to be, Ronnie has dropped a level or two and i can barely play snooker with my strong hand let alone two.

The players wouldn't be getting paid what they do without the fans.

The right to criticise? Does your boss call you “
F**ng sh*t etc if you have an off day? And to say the players are paid because the fans is nonsense, football isn’t run by the fans anymore and hasn’t been for a long time.

TV pays the players and fans pay for the TV rights.

So fans do actually pay the players because the vast majority of turnover comes from TV rights.

if you know about driving a team then you'll know about storming - forming - norming

We are fluctuating between storming and forming.

and in my opinion, is a normal possibility after many changes to an established team.

The key for any team is how they handle adversity. That requires, chemistry, experience and trust. It's no surprise to see the team appear to take backwards steps as they deal with adversity in-game, in-season and on the road.

@Ernest, I disagree with your opinion - the business doesn’t rely on ‘fans’ these days. It’s about a marketable product that generates multiple revenue streams. If me and you stopped going to the match, buying shirts, subscribing to media channels the multi billion dollar/ trillion product would overcom3 the setback.

Myers, if you want to just post something and have us all just agree with you then just say so.

We have the right to praise and we have the right to criticize. How far an individual takes that is up to them; we don't have to agree.

Professional footballers or anyone living in the public eye know that critics good or bad come with the territory. This is a rumours/ discussion website and we can all agree or disagree appropriately. At the end of the day we are all Liverpool fans.

Any marketable product still needs to be bought, if everyone stopped buying then there would be no money.
Its a spectator sport myers of course people can say a player hasn't played well or is in poor form.
To suggest only premier league standard players can have an opinion is nonsense.

Anyone that thinks fans alone still fund players' wages and all that must have just come out of a cryogenic chamber after decades of slumber.

Red Fly - Did i say you had to agree with me? I merely advised that people don't get spoken to like this by their employers for having an off day? So if you are on social media and have a bad day at work does that give thousands of people the right to criticise when they have never been in such a position before? Not for me, but this is the problem with society these days, grown men acting like babies because their football team got beat.

And if people think the "fans" subscriptions are what keep footballers going, again your mistaken, how many "fans" actual get tickets to these games. Look at Man UTD have been terrible for years yet still have some of the highest grossing seasons, why? Because sponsorship because its a BUSINESS!
