Honestly, people need to be more zen, stop reading every click/ rage bait online trash piece, and actually listen to the ED’s, especially ED001 when it comes to this whole Salah situation. Behind the scenes, something has clearly gone awry, people out of their depth and doing a bad job of dealing with actual people. Whilst it may be beneficial to the club in the longer term to sell Salah now, he’s still a person, who should be treated with honesty and respect.
People on this site would do well to RTFP as our beloved ED002 would say. Don’t get sucked in to the media circus, stick to the facts, which this site is a true rarity now in giving you exactly that.

There’s a massive divide among supporters right now, and personally I’m with you, captain. But at the same time, I do get why some people see it differently.
What I really don’t like, even if it’s only minor on here - is the hatred aimed at Salah, especially on social media. Rome and a few others have made fair points, but some people have gone way too far forgetting what he's done for us. Salah is a club legend, end of. Without him we don’t win the last two titles, it’s as simple as that. The man cares more about this club than some of the fans throwing abuse.
Everything’s a mess at the moment, but things will improve. We just need a new manager and a fresh start in the new year. I can’t see Slot keeping his job beyond then.

With you, Frode. To me, Salah was not out of order. He spoke the truth about how he is being treated and Ed01 explained exactly what is happening with the club trying to sell him and him getting benched with Slot not communicating anything to him, all things Ed01 has confirmed so this ain't guess work, for me.
If they thought Mo couldn't hack it anymore then they should have set him free last season with the send off he would have deserved. Now, they want him gone in Jan. to raise funds, yeah? Is that Salah's fault, too? If that is the case then, we should follow that logic till the end and sell all the others dropping stinkers, as well.
When the team starts playing better (cos Slot will eventually go) then, I'll change my stance on this season. Till then, it's all vibes. We win? Great. We lose or draw and play crap? Such is life.

You’re asking us to feel sorry for Salah because Liverpool have been sounding out the Saudis when Salah’s agent has been sounding out every big team in Europe since he arrived.
That’s just what happens, both parties will have people sounding out possible suitors as it gives them options. They are just doing their jobs.
How would Salah have felt if Liverpool had heard his agent was hawking him around Europe and gone to the press saying he’s just using us and he really wants out of the club?
You don’t go whinging to the press no matter what is happening. You deal with it behind closed doors but this is how Salah operates we’ve seen it before and it’s simply reprehensible.

Sean Dundee, ED01 has explained what Salahs agent was doing but at no point did Salah want to leave. It seems to me the major point here is, Salah has been told the club are trying to sell him and to do that, if he doesn't want to go, they have to force him out.
We all object when players want to go and force there way out, so why shouldn't we object when the club does it to a player? Even worse a legend like Salah. He maybe wrong and coming out in public, but we don't know how long this has been going on and what's been said before now.

The thing is, Salah wasn't even told that the club wanted to sell him. They were hawking him around to other clubs behind his back. Ed001 has cleared the air about his agent/ lawyer/ whoever trying to generate other club's interest in him and how Salah didn't want to move. That's completely different.
I still don't think that Salah should have aired all this out in the open but I don't think the club is squeaky clean in all this. The club acted poorly and so did Salah.

It’s a tangled web. I doubt the club would think speaking to other clubs about a player would remain confidential, and not get back to Mo’s agent or reps at some point. Even if NDA’s were signed things leak out.
I’m not saying they wouldn’t have been talking to others, they may well have been, but surely they wouldn’t expect it to stay confidential for long. Following that line of thought it could be even more orchestrated as an indirect way of messaging something rather than have that conversation directly with Mo and his reps.
House of cards type stuff this. Be nice to have another game of football to watch instead.

I love how my post about asking people to be zen and chill out turns into a rage-fest from some. Honestly, it couldn’t be more 2025. As for being old, I’m a supporter of over 40 years standing, so I’m also old, not sure what that has to do with any of this to be honest. For the record, I think Salah was wrong to go to the press, I also think the club are wrong for hawking him around, and Slot is potentially wrong for giving him the cold shoulder and making him feel unwanted.
I think we’re in a bit of weird spot right now, and it needs sorting, but I also think people need to remember that there are humans at the centre of it all, humans make mistakes and nobody is perfect. But anyway, rage on you crazy kids.
