Well, I think that performance and result answers the pre-game doubts, or hopes, that Slot has lost the dressing room.
One match doesn’t make a swallow or however that saying goes lol
But if it were the other way around, then the Slot out brigade would be in full voice.
Kudos to Slot and the players. Given everything going on, that was a performance to be proud of.

WDW not really sure how that’s a cop out. I’ve not predicted the Brighton result I’ve simply said we don’t know if it’s a Corner turned or false dawn.
Personally I think we’re going to continue on this win some, draw some lose some unexpected games form for as long as Slot is at the helm.
I can see us drawing Saturday.

Hope so JK. I'm currently in the Slot out camp but will that sway if he goes on a winning run without Salah in the team and starts to remove the supposed 'problem' players from the dressing room? Will it transpire that Slot is battling with a dressing room issue and may hey come out of it in a job and with more respect than he had after the end of last season?
If that happens a lot of questions will come about regarding the ITK's predictions that he is a dead man walking basically? Didn't think the season would go this way but it would be a nice problem to wrestle with.

3-0 to us. I think Wirtz is starting to click, Jones is outplaying Mac, the diamond formation gives us compactness, and Jogo and Jesus Saves will help with the clean sheet.

I think we’ll lose against Brighton. We did better last night, but it still wasn’t much better, it was dire to watch and I only got the second half. We got the win, brilliant, but it was a flukey one. Rewind a year and we’d have smashed them despite their current form. They didn’t play well either, and we were gifted the win.
I don’t think much will change until Slot’s gone. We’re not scoring goals for fun like we’re used to. Expect more losses and draws, with the odd win every now and then. That's my guess, hopefully we can turn a corner but I don't see it one bit, there's no sign of it.

Everyone hopes we go on a winning run, playing great football . but in reality is it just hope or do we believe it, we have played so poorly this year n we don't look half the team we were last year n that is down to the manager .
if he can somehow come up with a working formula then great if not he going to lose his job . we haven't lost in 4, but we played Sunderland, West ham n in Europe the slower game suits us . but letz hope this is the real corner turned.

Starting to look like more wins and draws with the odd loss though Salah. Which would basically put us in the same situation as other top teams. Three of our last 4 have also been away from Anfield. Look we can only take it one game at a time but a win vs a good Brighton team this weekend would really add to the momentum.

@Jk, sorry if it sounded like I was having a go, it wasn’t the intention, just more a case of seeing where we think we are now, before the Brighton game. I think we have turned the corner, which means everyone should have a few shillings on Brighton at the weekend.

FM, if we beat Brighton I’ll feel a lot more positive, but it still doesn’t take away what’s happened during this bad patch. That run has genuinely derailed a lot for us, and for me it’s not something that can just be brushed aside or forgiven because of the odd result, unless of course we go ahead and win the league lol. It’s been damaging, not only in terms of points dropped, but in confidence, momentum, and the standards we’ve always held ourselves to.
Slot, for me is a temporary figure and it’s clear he needs to be moved on sooner rather than later. The longer this goes on, the more it feels like we’re drifting without a plan. A club of our size shouldn’t be stumbling around hoping things click - we should be setting the tempo, dictating the direction, and demanding better.
All opinions differ, mate. I’m not saying you’re wrong. I just can’t ignore the bigger picture. One win won’t rewrite months of decline, and until real change happens, I’ll stay sceptical.

That 22/ 23 season we beat manU 7-0 we followed that up with 2 defeats and 2 draws in the league.
over the course of the season, I expect us to make top 4 with lots more ups and downs along the way.
