Why does an interim have to be SG? Now, I have no objections to it being him atol. But if they're worried about him winning a Champions League, and en not wanting to give him the job permanently, then why not look at someone from within.
Have we an under 21s coach or someone with a bit of brains on the wider staff team that could give it a crack. Ers nothing to lose by trying this. The flipside is that slot will not get us Champions League next year. So why not look at someone from within.

There would only have been an interim if Slot had resigned or if we were out of all comps and out of CL qualification reckoning.
It'll be the summer, in my opinion. A lot of managers will be possible then.

The best chance we have of #7 imo is Slot, putting aside any grievances. Do I want us to win it, of course. If that's Slot or not, so be it, but that would be awesome! It's a tough spot as a fan, I'm in the new manager crowd....unfortunately! We would all like things to be rosy, but they're not.

Our best chance of winning silverware is Slot? Lmfao, he can't get this team to beat Wolves, Spurs or Brighton, he's got no hope against PSG in the Champions League or away to City in the FA Cup. As painful as getting beaten will be, those games will at least end that nonsense and hopefully stop these pathetic delusions once and for all.
The only thing that's going to happen for the remainder of the season is Slot leading us more humiliating defeats. There's absolutely no reason or evidence to suggest otherwise.
