Dugarry added: “Have you seen Liverpool play? They’re catastrophic!
“They have no legs, they have nothing. Technically they have good players, they’re not clumsy, but they play at a snail’s pace.
“When you see the intensity Paris Saint-Germain manages to bring today, with their legs back, with their mental strength and everything else they’ve regained…there’s no comparison between the two teams.
“It’s going to be a massacre! It’s going to be a massacre.”

It will be.
Because Slot... is fearful of PSG, he will sit back and they will rip LFC apart instead of attacking their weak spot, which is their defence.
Mentally LFC are not there, and that stems from the manager. Under Klopp we would press the hell out of them.
Anyway.
I'm going for 6-0 PSG.

Sounds like the scene is set for a defiant 1-0 win away.

The worst thing is, we absolutely do have legs in the team. Szoboszlai, Wirtz, Gravenberch, Frimpong, Jones, Chiesa, Konate and Kerkez are all hard working defensively, but also very mobile players. That's over half of an outfield team. They're just being asked to play at half pace, and have had their fitness coached out of them gradually over the last 18 months.
Yes, we have the likes of Gakpo, Salah, Isak, Ekitike, Mac Alister, Gomez and Virgil who naturally play with a lot less intensity but we can cover their mobility deficiencies if the team is set up properly.

MKS, Heaven forbid the players are actually allowed to actually run during transition phases by this manager rather than walk around the pitch with half the pace.
As for Dugarry, or should I say, "Du gachis" (Trash in French, which was his nickname in his playing days), he is prolly right on paper cos many LFC fans believe it. We'll see.

Hopefully the players see this and get some fire in their bellies. Without a doubt, we're the underdog. Let's see how much fight we have.

Funny if we brought home a draw. Why not.

Wonder if Slot is tempted to sit in the PSG dugout when we play them. We all know he loves them.

What's his username? I'm sure he's posted that on here.

Apologies if done to death - but I'm guessing the idea of the slow passing, no pressing is: 1) control, 2) energy conservation, 3) try bait people out of position. Assuming these are the 3 primary reasons - I would say our team have way less control, have way less energy, and play so slowly that the other team can always reset.
So, failed on all 3 fronts. It's quite literally the anti-Klopp. I just don't see how Slot (& the suits above) don't see how it's killing us. Can someone please help me understand?

Slot has been a bit obsessed with that PSG defeat since it happened. Maybe he's spent all this time masterminding the perfect game plan and we are going to absolutely smash them 8-0?
Won't be holding my breath though. lol.

JB12, I agree with you on one thing. Slotball is anti-Kloppball, for sure.
