Only my opinion after a sorry night in Paris.
Slot's cuck-ish behavior towards PSG and City and his 'damage limitation' mentality has completely destroyed the spirit in the squad.
Treating PSG and City like superiors and not as equals tells you all you need to know about Slot and how far out his depth he is.
A large part of the reason we aren't good at the moment is because the players believe it too.
The mistake by the club was keeping Slot on.
A interim would've steadied the ship but fears were the interim may have exceeded expectations, therefore leaving the club with a difficult decision to make in the summer.
I personally believe we should be on the phone to Gerrard now on a short term role and have him ready at the helm for that second leg at Anfield.
There's nothing really to lose now, in fact, Anfield would be like a furnace with Stevie in the seat.
This isn't really a tactical choice now, it's gone way way past that.
It's about getting the players and fans to believe again. Anything is possible when you have heart, desire and fight.
I highly doubt this will happen sadly.

Cuck-ish behaviour is a perfect description. I know many will think it's harsh but this manager disgusts me, but the problem is so much bigger than just Slot now.

His obsession with PSG is insane, I'd be happy if he actually tried to play like in the aggressive style they do.
Instead, more of the depressive anti football and hoping we can score from one shot all game.
Honestly, I hope everyone above Slot is also sacked at this stage. Managed to destroy one of the most passionate fantasies.

It's crazy how Slot does seem obsessed with PSG's way of play and then compares it to his team's actual style of play this season.
It's like being obsessed with Megan Fox and then dating Gemma Collins.

I know you said earlier in the season it was decided to keep Slot till the end of the season, and that reasons at the time made sense.
There is nothing that makes sense now. Gerrard should be told, regardless, he's a stop gap for the last few games, like Shearer was when Newcastle needed him to stand in.
Slot has destroyed the ethos of the club, confidence is dead. We need a strong leader to come in, as this is not going to be a quick fix.
Slot does not have a winners' mentality. All he does is think smaller teams are superior. PSG are not superior; they had better tactics and fitness. A Klopp-led team would beat this PSG team.
Kompany making Bayern look like world beaters makes it even more embarrassing.
Slot needs to be put out of his misery. His comments are shocking, and he really is just so far out of his depth, it's depressing.

Agree with Carra,
However, the fact that the board/directors/FSG or whoever has let this situation go on and get even more dire, doesn't give any confidence that anything will get done or that anyone in command has a frigging clue.
Starting to doubt we will get any decent manager next, let alone Xabi, who could be looking at the way the club is being run and thinking "No Gracias".

I don't know, Faith, if Carrick can somehow improve Man Utd a bit, then I don't see why an interim manager couldn't do it at Liverpool. We have a superior squad than Man Utd. Or would you rather keep Slot until the end of season and risk losing what is supposed to be an easy UCL qualification for next year?

Big rumour talked about, was never the result over PSG 1st leg. It's the result against Fulham that is the 1 to say adios to Slot.

I disagree Ed25, PSG are not a big club, they are another city and are not superior to LFC. We have a team more than capable at beating PSG and Bayern.
Michael Carrick is doing a better job than Slot with a worse team. Slot is making us look SH*TE and the players have just given up as they know he's going to go.
Whole thing is a joke.
