We'll see a lot more of that if Wirtz is managed like the elite talent he is. The ability is there, and so is the attitude. We'll be a great team if we get our defence/spine sorted and allow Wirtz to wreck the opposition.

Morning, all Reds, just watched MOTD there and have to say a couple of things, and that is, if there was ever a case that proves VAR is run by crooks, it was yesterday. In that, the blue half of the city should have had a penalty against West Ham Utd, and 2ndly, just before the West Ham goal from the corner, Pickford again committed a horrendous challenge against Tatt, I believe it was.
Why did VAR not have a look at it? Surely it warranted a check, but nothing. So does that not prove a point. ?

Hunter, so Everton should have had a penalty and also conceded a penalty. Not sure how that proves it's run by crooks, mate.

I thought Pickford's challenge looked pretty horrific. Only seen it on MOTD for a brief moment, but it certainly didn't look too good.

Pickford is an absolute dipstick. He is reckless and gets away with it. Never forgive him for the brain fart challenge on VVD, and, yes, the West Ham one should have been looked at. He also screamed at the player after it. Total plum of a man.

Once you do something and it hurts someone, you do it again then it is clearly deliberate as you know what will happen.}

There is no defence for VAR, it has become so bad that people are going to accuse it of cheating. I don't agree with the video picture they put up for off sides, that proves nothing.
From the video picture, you cannot see when the ball was played, and it is easy to put the lines where you want. No one can see what they're doing, so it is open to accusations.

I fully agree, Lowe1FC, re/ Wirtz. Anyone thinking he is not good enuff while playing in this shambles of a system is just being lazy or taking pot shots at him for no reason. The technique on that strike alone is all you need to see/know about how great of a talent he is, in spite of the tactical debacle under this manager. I rate him very highly and wouldn't switch him for Cherki.

As for Pickford, I thought he should have been penalised for that reckless challenge on the WH player even tho, he saved the shot. Not only did he do that, he went shouting at the player while he was down and then walking about like he's the man. A truly vile player, indeed.
