I honestly hope Konate goes, one shocker of a season, and might not bounce back, I don’t think he is good for the team.
Lacroix would be good, take Gertruida for his versatility too.
Really hope Jacquet makes a good start with the Reds.

Much prefer we extend him. He has had a tough year personally. Much better to have him to blend in the new players slowly and then if they deserve to start ahead of him we could look at selling next year.

If the rumours are true that Konate is holding out for a king's ransom, then we are not selling him next year unless it's soft money like the Saudi's. We've been down this road before, w Edwards awarding large contracts to players that we can't move on.
We've made a mistake, giving Grav such a massive, totally unearned payrise. We don't need to make that mistake w Konate.

To be honest, there were other players that had a bigger drop off in performances than Konate this season. MacAllister and Grav and Mo could even argue that, from his standards, VVD's form dropped worse than Konate's.

I don't see that myself.
So, for me, it's either we extend him on terms suitable to us and then hunt for Virgil replacement. Or we let him walk and we hunt a number 2 who is suited to step in for Virgil.

Scottish League 2 level and yet he starts for France ahead of Saliba half the time. I'm not saying he's one of the best center halves in the world, but he is still a very good player. Not sure why our fans need to be this disrespectful towards one of our own.

I'm not being disrespectful whatsoever. I'm just stating the facts as I see them. If you see him differently, PB, then fair play to you, but it doesn't change the fact that he's useless.
How else can you describe him after watching him for the last season and seasons previously. One of the worst CBs to ever wear a LFC shirt. My opinion only. You're entitled to yours.
