Please don't swear on here, mate, can we just stick to the confidential ins and outs of every transfer we are linked to.
On a serious note though, mate, as a member, your best bet is the ballots. You've just missed the first half, but next one will be around Dec/Jan.
Or try early rounds, Carabao and FA Cup, if it's a favourable home draw.
Getting someone to transfer their tickets to you will be extremely tough, even amongst the greatest fans in the world.

I knew JK would step in with an answer to this question.

Rome, the posters who seem to know it all on every other post seem to go MIA when tickets or parking for games are mentioned.
No idea why, perhaps their WiFi goes down.

It's not about going to games, JK!
It's about knowing sitting at home watching Ligue 1 and Bundesliga games all weekend so that you know all the best players to complain about us not signing!

Brilliant Navy.

Can't beat a good illegal stream.

I will refrain from mentioning I attend games, this season, for fear of offending people.

Guessing WiFi isn't down.
Flash, any advice on tickets mate for the OP?
12 Aug 2026 08:38:05
I lol'd at that Navy. ?
12 Aug 2026 08:45:36
I chuckled, too, Navy. You've offended many people, though, mate!

When I was 7 me dad took us from New Zealand to Liverpool to see some games and catch up with his brothers. I have a dream to do the same with my sons.
I am curious if we could actually make it over there. Are the home games normally sell-outs? Can you get tickets, or do you have to pay a tithe for this?
{Ed025's Note - its very difficult mate, im sure the regulars like Rome or JK will give you some advice though...good luck..
12 Aug 2026 08:53:42
Alas, for some of us it has to make do, Flash. ? ?
12 Aug 2026 08:55:48
If you do get a League Cup game, then look into the Auto Cup scheme. It's a good way to guarantee regular games, and, as others have said, persist with the ballot and pray!
Or, if you can afford, go down the hospitality route.
12 Aug 2026 09:01:08
Infantinio, my recommendation would be to go for a hospitality package, as it's guaranteed tickets. You don't want to be travelling from NZ on the hope of getting one.
Hospitality is pricey (pricier for Everton, City & Utd etc) but can get one well in advance.

I know in Ireland a few companies do hospitality tickets. Obviously, ridiculous prices, but I do usually get some of the money back by eating my weight in the food. ?
But yea, tickets are hard come by and unfortunately hospitality are expensive, and usually to midweek or cup games. To get to Anfield, though, worth checking out.

Without coming across as a stuck record, PL clubs are almost making it impossible for fans to share tickets these days. Gone are the days, there are paper copies and LFC use an NFC pass.
To pass tickets, you have to have a membership account and be part of someone's friends and family account. That used to be limitless (I had over 150), but now it's something like 18 max for a season.
A friend of mine sold one of his tickets, and the only way the person could access Anfield was with his phone. You have to then trust that person with your phone, and also your seat, because if they misbehave, the seat is linked to the ticket holder.
As they say, where there's a will, there's a way, but not found a way around it yet apart from the above.

JK is spot on. I've always appreciated how lucky I am.
12 Aug 2026 10:35:30
That's true JK, a family member has a cheap phone which he only uses for tickets and it has no other info on it.
I'm lucky to be in a group of 5 with 3 season tickets between us, so we pick and choose games.

Liverpool-Fulham.
2 nights stay in a central city hotel.
Coach and ferry.
EUR650 p.p.....thats hospitality tickets.
12 Aug 2026 11:46:28
Ron, yeah mate, that's how the season ticket groups operate, but they have ridiculous waiting lists, and once someone is in, they don't tend to leave, so the lists just get bigger.

Your best bet is to ask people who are corp execs. A lot of companies buy boxes, use them for business meetings and then claim them back in the taxes, but the rest of the time they're totally unused.
I've known three companies which do this and they can't be the only ones.
