The answer to the non HG question is to not register the midfielder who barely played last season and isn’t up to the Premier League anymore. No room for sentiment as it doesn’t win points.

@lfc8 They have seriously backed their last few managers, didn’t make a right lot of difference. But someone really needs to get to grips with how they are continually able to spend so much each window.

Not registering the players doesn't mean that we stop paying their wages though. If we don't register Endo and Chiesa, we are essentially losing about £200k per week just for them to shake their legs at home or in the stands.
We can't afford to do that. The failure of Hughes is not only that he failed to bring players in, but that he failed to shift out unneeded players as well.
