The level of lawyers Man City can afford. Will tie up the whole situation for a very long time. If they have to. Quite possibly a large fine and a ban on transfers. If that.
An elite lawyer should be able to tie up the FA judgement in knots.

City are cheats and it's been an open 'secret' for over a decade I'm just glad that we actually have a guilty verdict to nail them with, still can't expect some serious legal shenanigans before any sanctions are stuck.
City are rightly getting there public dressing down by media and fans but surely the Premier League have some serious questions to answer, how did/do they scrutinise sponsorship deals for artificial inflation, how were sweetheart deals to Mancini escape oversight? I accept that City were being crafty with there accounting but a blind man on a galloping horse could see City were spending money hand over fist, did nobody ask where the legitimate revenue was coming from?

Exactly Downey but whilst they are bringing players like De Bruyne, Aguero, Silva etc. to the Premier League they are making it more watchable and so growing the brand.
It's like the Premier League have turned a blind eye because it suited them. Until they've made enough money then they've decided to put a stop to it because other clubs were following suit and some were days away from not existing because of it.
You'd have to be living under rock to not know what was going on. You don't go from Shaun Goater and Nicky Weaver to Aguero and Silva that quickly without the owners falsely inflating the income and paying back handers left right and centre.

Some of the details coming out are truly staggering and how it didn't come under Premier League scrutiny is unbelievable, between 08/09 City's revenue was recorded at approx 101m, by the time City won there 1st cup (fa cup) there revenue had almost tripled due to lucrative sponsorship and partnership deals, this is before they won a cup! In one season alone there 08/09 there sponsorship went up almost 400% ( all Middle East companies)

Apparently City had spent over £30m at the end of the 23/24 season on defending themselves, which is rather a lot of money on flogging a dead horse.
Their lead lawyer is Lord Pannick KC (I kid you not . 'Don't panic Captain Mainwearing, for those as old as me). The rate he charges is apparently £5000 per hour, and, again, I kid you not. The whole thing is obscene.

It's kinda easy to spot Harry after a while Ed. The username is usually a dead giveaway. But his posts are usually made up of false facts and a very liberal use of the laughing emoji.
Oh another sign is when he glazes up a Chelsea or City player. Or basically any other player other than ours. That's usually a giveaway ;)

What was harry like on podcast ed?
I remember when he first appeared and I quite liked his posts. They were always a bit controversial but you could tell he was quite knowledgeable. Then he turned full troll.
His thirstforwirtz moniker was insufferable though.
