Anyone else looking forward to seeing what Jayden danns could offer in this team /squad.
He's another that's had a long lay off and needs to slowly build his fitness and sharpness but for me if he can gain his fitness he offers us another focal point forward who is physically imposing and can link play.
He's missed a few years of footy so not sure we will see him anytime soon but I'd like to see what Iraola can do with him as when he burst through his playing style reminded me so much like Harry Kane dropping deep popping it off and running back in to space it just seemed natural for him.
Any ideas on danns any Ed's or fellow reds.
{Ed666's Note - I like Danns. Not sure he’ll ever be more than a squad player but he does have that uncanny knack all strikers need by being there or there about to score at the right moment..I’m pretty sure he had a back issue and he’s now fit but they are just being careful with him

Always love an academy kid coming through the ranks.
We need players that are competitive enough and good enough to start games here and there, come off the bench and make an impact.
We can't have a squad stacked with 100mil players sitting on the bench.

If Andoni and his men can get him to improve like Rio then he has a future in this squad.
Rio has improved his strength on the ball.
If Danns can improve his fitness and get stronger on the ball he can get there.

Dan's is a cult hero instead mouldy of Origi.

Danns hasn't played any senior first team minutes for exactly 13 months now and in the last 2 and a bit seasons he's managed 197 minutes.
That's a very big uphill task to come back from because the bar to play for a Liverpool sized club the the highest ceiling. However Koumas has shown that there are opportunities there especially and specifically at centre forward.
I think Danns is going to need a lot of football to get back and hopefully he gets that, maybe in a loan when Ekitike is back.
Great for the lad that's he's been involved within the match day squads though so far with the CL.

Agree @JK, a loan in January to get game fitness and game time would be the way to get him back up to speed, hopefully.
For me it'd be interesting to see Will Wright get game time- he seems to have got himself into the next likely option after Koumas.

I know I am. That kid is quality in front of goal, with the goals I have seen him score. He is that good, imo.
Now he will need to go through his progression, stay fit and get good playing time to develop and improve (here or on loan) but in front of goal, the kid has it already.

I must have missed Danns bursting through.
And I was know how the kid can have it already, in front of goal, after what he has done. Or not done. He hasn't even scored a League goal yet.
We need to be realistic about Danns.

Danns seems to be one of those players we are all desperate to see make it. It's definitely getting closer to the moment where he needs to be completely injury free and available in order to have a chance of making it at the club in the long term.
Will Wright is scoring for fun right now we have also signed the French lad, N'Guessan, who is loan at Brest. That puts a bit more pressure on Danns.

I think Danns have lost too much development time and that's why I think he is Danns at the club ?.

Any time I've seen him playing I was impressed. Unfortunately that wasn't for long. The setback may prove too much for him to overcome regarding his Liverpool career but I kinda agree with Oli, he's a good player and will score goals if fit and firing.

I remember eds 0025 saying he knows the family and spoke very highly of them.
{Ed025's Note - he comes from good stock IDLLK, his dad was a good player and was at Liverpool for a while and his grandad a skateboarding champion mate, he has not had the best of times with injury but there is a good player in there i believe, when im out with his dad next i will get an update for you..

Very much looking forward to seeing him back in action. I always thought the kid had great potential. Crying shame about the injuries, hopefully it hasn't affected him too much, and he can get back on track asap.

Would love Danns to stay fit for a decent length of time. He’s gonna have to because young Will Wright is coming up on the outside.Think both of them,if they can stay fit will have very good careers.
