If Ibou goes, I could see us getting that Ordonez guy. Just a feeling. But, I'd like Ibou to just sign. Losing him, Mo and Trent, on frees would be a disaster for what is largely a sell to buy model.

Not good enough for us, not starting 11, he'd do for replacing Joe Gomez, maybe, but not Konate. Apparently Konate has essentially agreed terms and they only have to iron out a few of the finer details.

I don't know who, but if Konate goes, then it has to be an experienced player coming in. It surely can't be another early 20s lad unless it's someone like Huijsen, who'd be Prem ready for a club looking to compete for top4.

Jacquet, I think, would be the eventual Konate replacement and Leoni the eventual Van Dijk replacement. I hope Konate stays another year or two while Jacquet is bedding in, though.

With Jacques, I think the fee is really irrelevant. I just don't think it makes sense having VVD plus 3 CBs aged 19-21.
