Robertson is going to Spurs because he isn't at the required level for Liverpool any longer. Fabulous player though he was, moving to Spurs gives him a deserved opportunity to prolong his PL career at a team in a very different place to us - Tottenham are no rivals.
"Doesn't mind playing against us" - Robertson would much rather be playing for us.

It's funny, everyone seems to laud Alex Ferguson for knowing the right time to move players on, but they don't like it when we do it.
It was the right time for Robertson and Salah to move on.

His legs and speed of thought had both gone or declined. It was evident in quite a few games. He occasionally had better games, but, again, like others have said, that doesn't justify a two-year deal on £150k plus a week. That would be madness.

Spurs and LFC are on two different levels. Robbo is great signing for a club that just avoided relegation two seasons on the bounce.

Rubbish, he isn’t on the required level. He should have been offered a two year deal. People implying that Kerkez is somehow in a different galaxy to him, when he isn’t. With Tsimikas coming back, it’s weakened us drastically. I can understand that Robbo may have wanted to leave to play more games, but he seemed a tad miffed he wasn’t offered a deal.
