28 Jul 2026 11:15:34
Cue various posts expressing thanks, excitement, pessimism, optimism, too much money, Ryan, Gapko etc.
28 Jul 2026 11:15:37
I'll pay for Ned's FlightRadar subscription.
28 Jul 2026 11:20:42
It's not going to be a EUR170m package, I can tell you that.
Although. I wouldn't get obsessed with finances.
Cheers.
28 Jul 2026 11:21:06
Allez Allez.
28 Jul 2026 11:21:39
@Sisenor,
Liverpool currently exploring centre back options, mate.
They want to get Barcola wrapped up 1st.
Cheers.

More like "thanks a 145 million, Robbo" Barryinlouth ???... For that money I'd prefer to go all out for Kvaratskelia (we can but dream ???).
28 Jul 2026 11:32:04
Awesome, thank you, Robbo!
28 Jul 2026 11:12:43

28 Jul 2026 11:32:11
Cheers, RobboLFC, exciting news that.
28 Jul 2026 11:33:16
Nice one, Robbo! Gonna be a mega player for us.
28 Jul 2026 11:34:33
I think Konsa would be a good shout. Good enough for first team, but also not too big to sit on the bench. Also covers a few positions. However, he probably costs a bomb.
28 Jul 2026 11:35:14
Thx so much, Robbo! Seems like progress is coming in flood.
Au revoir!
28 Jul 2026 11:40:38
@inbeta, he's not worth it unless you plan to put him as a starter.
28 Jul 2026 11:42:02
Josh Aceamipong (sp?) or Joel Ordonez (metal t'a*******s ain't s***).
28 Jul 2026 11:50:45

28 Jul 2026 12:01:53
Try and get your French right, rideaux de boeuf.
28 Jul 2026 12:15:43
Cheers, Robbo. Would be good to get this one resolved so we can get onto the rest of the business.
28 Jul 2026 12:39:50
Thanks Robbo.
28 Jul 2026 12:40:35
Not ITK in any way but as a negotiator of similar value deals in another very different business, I would have to say the scene looks set for a deal around or a little over £120M, approx halfway between LFC and PSG starting points.
Could be 100M basic plus 20 M add-ons?
We have to be realistic with Anderson and Rodgers setting the scene at just under 120M, no way could we expect anything less for Barcola...
Would PSG accept that...Let's see!
28 Jul 2026 12:47:34
Great news, thanks, Robbo.
28 Jul 2026 12:48:19
Nice one Robbo.
28 Jul 2026 13:04:06
Crazy money. They better not throw it on us match-going fans. There must be three decent players out there for that price; three league proven players or quality youngsters. I must be getting old, but when you think transfer fees couldn't get any worse, you read this. An unsustainable bubble.
28 Jul 2026 13:18:58
Is it the norm to work only on one deal at a time?
I always thought clubs worked on multiple deals at the same time rather than in succession.
28 Jul 2026 12:39:24
It's beef curtains after Franck Leboeuf - footballer-philosopher.
28 Jul 2026 13:27:40
Cheers, Robbo.
@Iraolacoaster
Those two players have an added homegrown "tax" so you can't apply the same rules. As Adam Cleary said, everything in the media serves a purpose such as trying to help drive up or down prices.
28 Jul 2026 13:55:16
Cheers, Robbo.
28 Jul 2026 13:58:02
Thanks Robbo! How is Spurs treating you?
28 Jul 2026 14:06:34
Cheers, Robbo, good news!
28 Jul 2026 18:03:42
Lid... but loads on here just say fans shouldn't grumble about paying extra money to go the games, you know the ones who only go 3 games a year... I agree with you, it's unsustainable, these transfer fees n the fact we left a lot run contracts down.
