We are actually going for Ismaila Sarr after all these years for £50m.

He's 28.

Now that's a panic buy, ladies and gents. I wouldn't have a problem if he was a bench option and cost less but £50m seems like the new £30m.

Why is there so much negativity already after only one tough away match. Players getting used to new system. Bar 2 break away goals we largely dominated.

The transfer window is not shut yet. Will judge next week. Hopefully Barcola this week plus 1 more.

Most of us wanted Slot, Edwards and Hughes out. 2 gone and Hughes is going after this transfer window.

AI only been in club for a few months and assessing squad and looking at youth (which Slot never did). He is also based in Liverpool unlike Slot.

Just had huge investment in club. Hopefully will give us more spending power to compete more regularly at the top table.

We splashed the cash last summer and look where that got us.



Isak now fit so let's give him a chance.

Wirtz was let down by Slot... Already more positive chat about his relationship with AI.

Kerkez was great under AI so hopefully will be soon for us.

Munoz looked good on right when he came on.

Araujo, Jacquet and Leoni look promising CBs when fully fit.

Yes there are gaps in squad and we will be exposed if we get too many injuries but we need to give AI time and support. It will take some time to get right.

New season new hope and only Arsenal and Chelsea looking stronger than last season imo.
