What do people think about Kudas. Personally I would love to see him at Liverpool. He can play anywhere so is versatile and I think he has the quality to play at a higher level but just my opinion and interested what others think?

as long as Salah is at the club, we'll be stock piling LWs who can play CF until we have emptied the market.

Me too, Jgrant. Closest thing to Sadio Mane out there today. Super strong, can receive the ball in tight spaces, impossible to get the ball off and has a cannon of a shot.

If we are to replace Luis Diaz this summer, he would be my first choice.

He had a decent game yesterday and is very direct and quick.

At points yesterday it felt like our players are sticking to game plans too much and rather than attack their man or space they turn back to retain possession and build up play.

Not sure that would suit Kudas.

Too showboaty for me. Doesn’t seem like a team player.

Overcoaching is definitely a problem in the game. It’s hard to pin down why teams, even the best ones, have got to this position. It’s noticeable when players come in from abroad they often start really well and then the raw talent and ability to improvise get coached into a style of play which stifles the more skilful. Many still have the skills, but use it to retain the ball rather than create goals or chances.

Maybe we over analyse the game now to such an extent teams are terrified of losing the ball or making a mistake, but they also overplay out from the back and concede a lot of goals as a result. Southampton particularly have suffered from that, but the coaching seems inflexible. Goalkeeping standards really poor as well, but that’s another thread.

I take your point, JS, but foreign players that come into the Premiership are invariably coached by foreign coaches.

True that Rome. I don’t know the answer I guess coaching goes through phases and we’re just in a safety first type phase right now.

Jordan and Rome. For all my crimes my son has introduced me to tik tok. He now sends me reels of players from the past clips with a bit of old school music.

Some of the Ronaldo (R9), Ronaldinho and Maradonna clips are like from a different world.

Well you don't have to go overseas to find an example of what you're talking about, grealish was bought for 100mill by pep to use his famed quick feet to keep the ball near the corner flag late in games.

I like forward to seeing one of your routines, JK, set to a Black Lace medley. Or perhaps I don't!

Funny but true that Patrik. Why they ever bought him is a mystery, he was much better at Villa. I haven’t descended into tik tok yet JK, I’m the last of the resistance.

I'm lucky. Tiktok is banned where I am. I keep telling the idiots that send me links, but I am relieved that I can't watch, even if I want to.

Kudus should be avoided West Ham is his level.
