We about to win our 20th league title, with a brand new manager after a period of sustained success, this is a time to really enjoy our time as Liverpool supporters. It was not that long ago when we were where Man Utd are now. Yet so many people seem to be more concerned about transfers or the negative aspects of the clubs management than enjoying winning trophies, when and why did this become a thing?

Well, it is a page for rumours mostly. so rumours about us winning trophies don't exist.
I agree though - it seems computer games, stats, Platinum players etc. appear to mean more to 'fans' than actual titles.
When I went to the match every week between 1978 and 1995, everyone had a laugh, it only mattered that we win - being entertained is what we did for ourselves on the Kop.
The fact that people get so riled because a player is leaving or we can't sign this or that player blah blah blah, is really sad.
All that matters, is winning, I'll keep saying this. Yes, players come and go and some players help us win, some contribute to our losing. Some players may cost 90 million and it pleases everyone, then they slate that player because he doesn't score enough despite having similar stats to other players who are lauded.
Just enjoy the winning and forget about getting annoyed about players, because, you have absolutely no say or influence with regard to their acquisition or departure, but you can have an influence by supporting your club.

Is it now forbidden to both celebrate a league title and have the audacity to think about what comes next? Because based on the sheer volume of these “stop worrying and just enjoy it” sermons, you'd think the Ministry of Acceptable Football Emotions had issued a public service announcement.
Apparently, expressing even mild concern about Hughes or the transfer window is now borderline treason - like we’ve all taken a solemn vow to suspend critical thinking until July. But mate, we haven’t.
Personally, I’m very happy. Slot’s done an outstanding job in very little time by winning us the league. Absolutely fantastic. But that joy doesn’t come with a clause that bans me, or anyone else from wondering what comes next.

I genuinely believe 90% of u25 year olds would rather win the transfer window than the league.
Take me back to the days when we didn't know the names of anyone in the transfer teams and you'd go on Sky Sports to see you've signed a player.
Everyone wants to be the next Romano nowadays, spouting absolute bollocks for clicks and crying if their team don't drop £100m on the new flavour of the month.
This isn't a Liverpool thing, it's a Premier League thing and the lack atmosphere in the league is testament to it.

The way people act and react over here (regarding football) is a direct reflection of everything going on in our lives outside of football. Ed025 has said this many times and he's absolutely correct. So start looking for answers over there. ?.

Good post, Gunn. I've repeatedly said that whatever my opinion, or anyone else on here, is, it has little influence on what the club does. If 60,000 fans in the ground start chanting "we want Hughes out" THAT, might have an influence.

Salah, not one person has said that people "shouldn't be concerned about next season" but that's exactly what it is, NEXT SEASON. There is a whole transfer window to go through yet in which we will then see how good or bad Hughes really is. He has had "Two" windows so far however Slot clearly said he wanted to review the squad first and wanted only one midfielder, he was told by the player he wanted to join, then backed out. Hardly Hughes fault for the player not signing, yet he is being singled out. Why not the scouts who are supposed to be advising the other options? Why not Slot for not pushing Hughes for getting another player in, instead of towing the company line?
The players who hadnt signed contracts you laid the blame at the door of Hughes, you have constantly complained at fans for "not believing" yet then start complaining and laying insults at people when they tell posters like you to enjoy the moment and the future will take care of itself.
I think you are the biggest hypocrite on here tbh, no one expected Slot to come in and win the league in his first year myself included but i am loving and enjoying this moment, there is no given right for anyone to win the league, and to witness it twice in the last few years is a miracle since it took LFC so long since the last ones. Get a grip with your snidey comments and let people enjoy the moment.
At the end of the day, we will see what happens next season in August after we have wrapped up number 20. Maybe more time should be focused on the past in how we got in the position we have with the squad and not be put on the current crop.

We can actually enjoy winning the league for the 20th time . go the parade, get bladdered. but we can also look to the future n see who we need n who needs to go etc. otherwise you stand still like we did in the 90s.

For many it’s actually becoming a reality where winning the transfer window is more important than winning on the pitch.
It’s the media responsible for it. Sky sports and main stream press wanting your attention to fuel advertising. Building up the importance of the transfer window etc.

This club is well run well organised and, above all, GREAT!
Like every organisation, team or individual I. All walks of life unfortunate or upsetting instances, even mistakes, will occur but it is how and what you make of those in forward growth and momentum that closes the chapter.
The title is almost here and it is time to rejoice then go again because I am certain that with this great club there will be many many more of this going again stuff!
