With the current noise around Real Madrid, alleged referee biases, red cards galore in the Copa final - suggests Real Madrid is not a happy club right now. Cap this with Ancelotti moving on - I wonder if TAA is making the right move for his career.

The new manager may not want him/ play him etc.

Question for the Eds and fellow site fans. has TAA burnt his bridges with us all?

Personally I'm not fussed if he stays or goes and wish him best of luck if he does leave. I've been a LFC fan for over 50 years, and the club is always bigger than the player.

What if he was to make a "U-turn" and decide to stay? How would you all feel?

Cheers
RedTed.

Real Madrid are definitely having a heads gone moment.

It would be brilliant if he stays but it’s highly doubtful. Trent has been negotiating for many months and according to the reliable reports the contract is just waiting to be signed as soon as the season ends.

It’s about the club, the team. What a great season. Finally number 20 incoming.

Nah, it’s increasingly par for the course @JK. Boycotting of the Ballon D’Or because Vinicius didn’t win, public criticism of officials by the club, stirring up players through Marca, and the latest on3 at the end of the final.

He's not burned his bridges with me.
He scored the winning goal in our last game.
The way I feel about him leaving is nowhere near hating him or waving him off into the sunset.
They are both extremes and it seems that you have to hold one or the other view on here (or on SM, in general) .
Nah, miss me out with that schtick.

The vast majority would love him to stay at the club mate, I think he will but maybe it's wishful thinking.

Who gives an f about trent and Madrid. Horrible club they are.
We're about to win the Premier league. Appreciate it and appreciate the players that want to play for us.

RedTed, I agree that RM is not the club anyone really wants to go to at this point BUT time can heal the situation. As for Trent, he has made his bed and Im fine with whatever decision he has made for his own life cos after all, it's his life.

He played for LFC and gave his all for the club and cos he did not make a deciion I agree with does and will never mean he has burned his bridges with me nor the club. I love Trent and will continue to love and support him regardless of what decision he makes.

Not for me. As good as he is, I'd prefer him gone. Let him enjoy the sun, his mate Bellingham and that classless club in Madrid. Steve McManaman 2.0.

Naturally having Bradley softens the blow. I just hope we really bet on him and he gets a break with those injuries.

I am slightly astounded that there has not been more noise around Real’s behaviour. The takedown of the ref before the game was bad enough, but the footage shows at least three Real subs running on to the pitch and throwing stuff at the ref.
There is a sense of entitlement and victimhood to Real Madrid, that always made this a likely outcome. I think a ban will be - and should be - way more than limiting suspensions to this domestic cup.
It’s becoming increasingly clear that Bellingham has matured into a total bellend.
Love Carlo, but Real has engorged itself with Mourinho’s appalling legacy - just a ghastly club.

I’d love Trent to stay, and for those that think he’s burnt his bridges must have forgotten just how close SG came to leaving; once he re-signed all was forgotten.

That being said, his style is nowhere near as integral to our system as it was under Klopp.

Bradley looks a better fit now, hopefully his injury issues clear up with maturity and he continues to progress.
