I’m not convinced by Kerkez to be honest. Doesn’t seem that defensively solid, nor that dynamic going forward. I don’t have a better alternative in mind, I just don’t think he has that much more quality and, for the likely fee, would hope we could find better elsewhere.

I think he looks really good going forward to be honest, he's not as good as prime robbo defensively of course but I can't think of a left back in recent memory that is anywhere close to that level defensively and offensively. He's a really conventional left back compared to somebody like hato though, one wonders whether that's what slot wants moving forward.

I have a feeling we’ll be missing out on both Kerkez and Hato. Madrid are very keen on Kerkez and Chelsea have apparently opened negotiations for Hato, as for Stiller, I don’t think we’ll be bringing a midfielder in. My feeling is that we won’t bring in a replacement for Arnold if he goes and we’ll struggle to find a left back of suitable quality at a price deemed acceptable, honestly wouldn’t be surprised to see Robertson and tsimikas as our left backs or even Owen Beck. I can’t see us signing another midfielder unless Elliott leaves and even then it’s unlikely given he’s not featured much this season. As for strikers, we won’t be signing Isak as he’s way out of our price range, Cunha seemingly wants United, Osimhen still wants stupid wages, suspect it will likely be Sesko if someone else doesn’t pay his buyout clause. Although I saw some bizarre link for us being interested in signing Nkunku which would be as dumb a signing as we could make given his complete failure to adapt in the premier league and his injury issues. Can’t see us bringing in more than one or two players to be honest.

I may be turning into a cantankerous old man but I half agree with Viktor again ( may need medication) but can see a scenario where we probably only sign 1 maybe 2 players. I remember when klopp trotted out the “ this team deserves another season together ” line after champions league final when we didn't invest.

You have to remember start of the season VV said that’ll we will be a mid table team as Salah is too slow, Konate is made of crisps and Diaz won’t be with us as his dad wants him gone
(I’ll admit I didn’t think we’d win the league but I had a bit more faith in them finishing top 4)
Everything VV says take with a pinch of salt as he’s definitely not that knowledgeable and their favourite saying at the moment is “English Tax” when mentioning English players linked with us.

I wouldn't be surprised to see as many as 6 incomings. I know recent history suggests otherwise, but I have a hunch that Edwards wants to flex his muscles this summer, and will do so.
LB, RB, CB, no6, no9 and a wildcard attacker is my prediction. Doesn't mean they will go straight into the starting lineup though.
