I don’t know if this is true or not, but apparently United’s prize money for getting to the final and losing, over half will have to be paid out to Chelsea as part of the Mason Mount deal as it has a clause for getting to a European final. The gift that keeps giving.

Record books will show that Spurs had a better season than City, Arsenal, Newcastle, Chelsea and Villa.
Yes they finished way below them in the league but they've won a European Trophy and qualified for the CL.

They've had a horrendous run of injuries. No that should be an excuse to have fallen to where they did, but it is very fair explanation for me.
