So if we get isak, fofana if Diaz goes, guehi and a younger cb if konate goes would we say that'll be it this summer incoming. Then we'd just concentrate on outgoings?

Vango, I wonder how much Gomez can stay fit this season? Even with Slot's regime being epitomised by fewer injuries, he still missed over 130 days to injuries (2 x hamstring issues) .
I'd love him to go injury free for a season. He did it (pretty much) in 2023/ 24 and played 51 games that season, albeit much more at RB or LB than CB, and famously he went injury free in 19/ 20 alongside Virg to romp us to the title (and played mainly at CB) .
If Slot and the medical team can coax him through a season, I still think he could reach back to the heights of 19/ 20 as a CB alongside Virg (if Konate goes)

Nah, it's true Billy, I checked his injury history thoroughly.
Oh, do you mean my last sentence? Well, agree to disagree. I still see a player there, but his injuries have played havoc. He's still 28, so it's not like he is ancient and sliding through to retirement.
It's unlikely, I grant you, but I still see him playing an important role for us.
The question will be whether he can show enough over the next season or two to get a new contract when his expires at the end of the 26-27 season. He will have been at the club for 12 years by then, having won 4 premier leagues along with a whole host of other trophies.
Let's wait and see!
