The credibility of this write-up went out the window once you blamed Onana for the loss against Grimsby. Let's be fair, Grimsby should have been 4-0 up at halftime, statistically they were very clearly the better team in the first half and the two goals United let in they had all the time and space in final third to create and score. Sure, Onana didn't cover himself in glory but the effort exhibited from the team was embarrassing. Getting figured out tactically by Grimsby is one thing, not getting your players mentally prepared to play a game like that is another, Amorim failed on both counts.
I watched part of the Burnley game and United look like they can't protect a lead to save their lives. I'm pretty sure that if Bruno had put that penalty away 5 minutes earlier Burnley would have scored an equaliser a minute or two afterwards, they just never look like they have control of the game at all. Is being 5th in possession really useful when that happens?

He’s won 8 out of 30 premier league games - losing 15.
The Grimsby defeat was a horror show from all involved.
Sorry but you can’t have a United manager who has lost half his league games, is pissing around with a tactics board when your getting a seeing to from a fourth tier football club and can’t bring himself to watch a penalty shoot out. That is simply not good enough and no amount of stat padding will fix that.

Nice to see you’re back from your sabbatical on Cleethorpes beach Shappy.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. As long as Utd keep insisting that Bruno Fernandes is world class and allowing him to captain the team they’ll get nowhere.
He’s not technically good enough for the reputation he has but even more importantly than that he does not have the right mentality to lead a team. If things go against him he moans and whinges and just gives up. That’s attitude has fed its way through the whole team.
They are mentally weak, the captain is mentally weak and the manager is showing that he is mentally weak too.
I hope they persist with both for a very long time.

To Shappy's credit, if I had to watch every United game for the last 12 years, I would also get Stockholm Syndrome.
