Not being funny, but if we had our current 11 with Wirtz, Martinez, Kerkez and Frimpong in there. That’s some computer game levels of transfer window that.
We’d certainly be exciting to watch!
1.) 04 Jun 2025 15:31:09
Add some hot prospect at CB, Wing and CM and we are going to be a force.
2.) 04 Jun 2025 15:32:31
Those 4 would tackle pretty much all of our weaknesses as long as the likes of Diaz and Konate stay. But if they go we'll replace them too I'm sure.
Martinez
Diaz, Wirtz, Salah
Macca, Grav
Kerkez, Virgil, Ibou, Frimpong
Alisson
That is a naughty team!
3.) 04 Jun 2025 16:26:10
That's a vinegar strokes team.
4.) 04 Jun 2025 16:35:10
MK looks good though I believe our biggest weakness is CB if Konate does or doesn’t go.
One injury and we are not well stocked. I’m hoping we get one in if Konate stays or two otherwise that could be our Achilles heal next season.

It’s like your first draft of a fantasy league football team, before you realise you are 500M over budget.

Just thought I’d come out and say that even though I have zero inside knowledge of Trent’s contract situation, I’ve decided he must have done us dirty because I’ve read rumours that feed into that narrative. So I’m going to be petulant and slag him off and be incredulous that he could do such a thing (did I already mention I have zero concrete evidence to support this outburst? ) .
I’ve also seen rumours linking us to Isak for 120mil and it’s clear to me (without any concrete knowledge) that this rumour is not like said Trent rumours and clearly b@llocks.
Both of these opposing narratives serve my agenda. Grrr FSG are sh@t, grr.

If one post could sum up a typical nonsense post by a "fan" then this is it!
Nicely put Shaq :-)
2.) 27 Mar 2025 14:40:40
Yeah how dare anyone have any opinion on anything without 100% facts. Close the site.
3.) 27 Mar 2025 15:01:40
Having opinions is alright. But treating opinions as fact and using it to thrash others and pile abuse on people isn't.

I think something not really being considered right now.
Our 7 point gap is a bigger than some think.
If we drop 7 points between now and the end of the season, Arsenal would have to be perfect and win every game for that to be significant.
Arsenal WILL drop more points before the season ends, so they need to drop at least 7 less than we do (poss more because of our superior GD)
1.) 14 Feb 2025 08:05:28
We've still got some very difficult games remaining so are likely to drop a fair few points ourselves.
Especially with their injuries and with Lego Head in charge, Arsenal are going to drop points in the next 14 games. We just need to drop 6 less than them. Not worried about anyone else although I'm also not hugely worried about Arsenal, even though they think they won the league when they played City a few weeks ago.
2.) 14 Feb 2025 08:32:11
We still have many lose-able games against top teams.
Vs citeh, Newcastle, chelsea, Arsenal.
And against Fulham, Brighton.
3.) 14 Feb 2025 08:34:33
I also think that 7 points is a good enough gap. But I couldn't help to feel nervous, crazy nervous. Its best if we have 17 or 70.
4.) 14 Feb 2025 08:34:45
Let’s start off by beating Wolves.
5.) 14 Feb 2025 09:21:47
Exactly Shaq, this is exactly what I wanted us to be involved in. A proper title race where you don’t need to win 15 on the bounce just to stand a chance.
If we blow it, so be it, I can’t control it, but I’ll be damn sure to enjoy seeing us top of the pile as we edge closer to the finish line.
6.) 14 Feb 2025 09:54:55
I said 86 points to win it, 29 points from 14 games (42 points) .
7.) 14 Feb 2025 10:38:30
If we get 29, Arsenal will probably need 37 out of 42.
Reasons for optimism but not calling the open top bus company just yet.
8.) 14 Feb 2025 11:00:44
It is true that Arsenal have to run the table essentially, to have any chance of winning the title and if that was implausible before their injuries then, it is even more afterwards.
It is also true that tho we have a 7 point gap which leaves Arsenal very little room for error, we still have to remain focused on what we have to do to finally bury them cos well, we have buried everyone else like City, Chelsea and Forrest with 16, 14 and 10 points behind respectively.
Our boys need to remain focused cos it's all about us now. Let's go finish the job. 7 points from the next 3 games would be awesome. Starting with Wolves, of course.
9.) 14 Feb 2025 18:52:59
NOBODY thought we won the league against City, Brommers, and nobody I have spoken to in my circle of family and friends even thinks we will win the league this season. It's so easy to type things out and fool yourself into believing it though, eh?
08 Jun 2025 19:00:45
Any indication on how Martinez feels about prospect of LFC mate?
05 Jun 2025 18:09:56
His reps have been speaking to the clubs. This is completely legit.
30 May 2025 05:09:36
He has 1 year left on his deal I’m pretty sure. 20-25m is the most we can hope for and is a good fee.
29 May 2025 09:38:18
You say lowball as if it’s a derogatory thing to do. Would you not advocate for Liverpool to do the exact same thing if we were pursuing a player with 1 year left on their deal?
Sucks for us, but fair play to anyone using it to keep cost down.
24 May 2025 05:18:23
To be fair iron, it might not be your neighbour who is the knob in the scenario you described ?.
09 Jun 2025 15:16:33
What a tedious troll you are
Firstly, were likely to sign at least Frimpong, Wirtz and Kerkez which puts to bed 1 player.
Secondly the champions of England have an awful lot of issues apparently.
08 Jun 2025 12:50:11
Ultimately if he wants to move up the levels of club. He isn’t getting a city/ chelsea/ utd (still a big job) / lfc. That is apparent where they’ve mostly had chances to hire once or twice recently and none have gone for him.
Spurs whilst in a mess, are a far bigger club than Brentford and he needs to prove himself somewhere like there as a stepping stone to a bigger job.
07 Jun 2025 14:48:32
Harsh but absolutely the right decision IMO.
17th in the prem and 38 points is an abomination, even with an injury crisis.
Ten Haag won the FA Cup and finished a lot higher last season and everyone was of the opinion he should go.
They stuck by him, gave him 200mil only to sack a few months
Spurs form last season back half was dreadful too.
04 Jun 2025 15:43:37
They don’t want one of their brightest talents leaving their national league? Sour grapes? Who cares!
02 Jun 2025 19:04:46
Ed1 - am I right we came close to Batistuta once?
{Ed001's Note - oh yes, good one.}
