Pulling Wirtz out of the team is going to improve it straight away, he has 1 more game left of being allowed to be a passenger princess and once he's out, I can't see him being anything more than a cup and last 15 mins when we are comfortably winning player.
The only thing keeping him in the team currently is his price tag. One of our main problems last season was losing it in midfield and instantly exposing our last line of defence. Having Wirtz in the team perpetuates that 10x, no urgency or fight whenever he loses it either.
Does not have the strength, dynamism or speed for the PL. He was a good player in a terrible league, he's now a pretty poor player in the best league.
I predict transfer to Dortmund within 2 years £45 + 5 million ?.

And if he proves you wrong are you going to come on here and apologise? Blaming everything on a 22 year old who backed himself to play at the top level with the massive expectation of being a record transfer rather than stay in his comfort zone with Bayern playing for a public that adores him.
I think it's perfectly fine to expect a bit more from him but if slot sold the club's vision to him by emphasizing how brilliant our fans are I hardly expect that he'd expect them to turn on him after 9 games.

Wirtz or any playmaker would work if you have two proper Number 6 in the middle (Patrey / Rice for Odegard) (Rodri / Gundagaon for Foden / Silva) we didn’t bother to invest in that midfielder in the summer. I honestly don’t think slot had any input these transfers.

I honestly don't know how some of the trolling manages to get posted on here at times.

The only couple of chances we had last night in the 2nd half were Bradleys open header and Isak hitting a tame shot on the half volley when almost through. Wirtz played both in, with 2 beautiful passes/ crosses. Why are people obsessed with writing off wirtz when he is not the problem.

Glad you’re not in charge.

Well I'll never the get the time back I wasted reading this. Its my fault really, I should know better after two losses.

Ah when supporters support the club and players its beautiful to see.
Best fans in the world!

Im glad you're not managing LFC.

I disagree. The thing keeping him in the team is his potential. Yes he’s not performing but he has the potential to be one of the best in the world.
He might not realise that at Liverpool and it could be a De Bruyne and Salah at Chelsea situation or Henry at Juve but he is a class above most players who have come over from Germany.
I’m happy for us to persevere with him because I think he will be worth it but what we can agree on is he’s difficult to watch at the moment.

Yeah. I’d guess the scouting and the recruitment team just pulled his name out of thin air and thought ‘he’ll do. Let’s spend a shedload on this bloke and see how it goes’.

And yet he was one of our best players last night. It's not one individuals fault. If i was going to criticise any player for losing the last 2 games, Konate and Gomez would be the two that stand out. Plus Salah has been a ghost all season, and Slot is playing slobby at RB! Wirtz has given the ball away a bunch of times, but so has pingpong, yet none of that seems to matter because Wirtz is this weeks punch bag.

All we are saying is give wirtz a chance. Come on reds give the boy a bit of time you don't become a bad player overnight.
