Just for fun, which position in league do you think Liverpool will end season in?
I got to feeling we may miss out on UCL top 4. Maybe end up 6 or 7 seeing the lack of team spirit.
{Ed078's Note - I'll go 4th, 3rd with some luck.

The league is tough though so as much as it pains me to say it, finishing 6th or 7th is a real possibility, especially given the form we are in now. I'm hoping for at least a top 4 position though.

Top 4 at worst lad's.
27 Oct 2025 08:18:50
I would say 3rd or 6th. League is done but hopefully we can keep it together in the league to secure top 4 and have a good run in champs.

It depends on how quickly we can turn things around. If we can make a game of things quick enuff then 3rd/ 4th. If not then, 6th/ 7th.
27 Oct 2025 09:18:33
Probably 7th or 8th sadly.

We are still on course for 102 points.

1st. None of us should be giving up on the title yet.
Arsenal have scored less goals in open play than any other team in the league. Their inability to score will cost them again this season.
We are not as far off as people would have you believe even after that awful performance on Saturday.
For me, we should still be chasing the title because there’s 29 games to go, 87 points to play for.

You do realise how poor you usually have to be over the course of a season to finish 6th or 7th?
City lost something like 9 games last year and ended up 3rd.
Their worst run was almost identical to ours - 4 defeats in a row. After that, they won 1, drew 1, lost 2, and drew another. They eventually got back on track, but the damage was done.
Hopefully, ours won’t follow that path, but given our current form, it wouldn't surprise me at all if it does.

Top 4, the way we are playing we'll be lucky to stay out of the bottom 4,we've been poor for a good while now, players look shadows of themselves, something is seriously wrong.
27 Oct 2025 10:04:14
Robbo since we don't know when or if we can turn it around and most importantly, we will now be hoping Arsenal start losing ground, we would have to go a a preety good winning run to get back in it.
People do not see that as being likely right now hence, they think the tile is done. These are the only caveats I would put in re: the narrative. Just my take.

I'm going to throw this wild one out there:
Bournemouth will win the league. Arsenal will finish second.
27 Oct 2025 10:36:00
Not sure where you get 102 points Akira. Current points per game we'd finish on 63.
27 Oct 2025 10:36:47
We’ll finish 2nd.
27 Oct 2025 10:17:40
Excuse me ain't we jumping the gun too early too soon. Before we kicked a ball this season it was us or Arsenal and yes we've lost 4 games on the spin but that does not say anything yet. Arsenal will not go without dropping points - the results are not good but hey things might and can change.
27 Oct 2025 10:16:34
We have seen our team and other teams 12 points clear and lose and win the prem so 1st for me . YNWA.
27 Oct 2025 11:40:13
It might sound deluded but we can still win it.
Arsenal are their own worse enemies and capable of imploding and City are still figuring their own stuff out like us.
For now, Arne and the team need to up their levels of intensity and start building some momentum.
Although it might sound odd to some given we are on a losing streak, but I would play the kids vs Palace. If we go out of the cup, then so be it. We have a number of injuries already and the last thing we want to do is add more.
All the focus for the first team squad on this week should be on shape and intensity in preparation for the Villa game and then Real and City after that.
