Even if slot goes, these current group of player's are going to let you down. I've seen many time's slot roar instructions on the pitch which doesn't get implemented.
It was the first time I've heard him all season actually reply to the press "did you not see me on the sidelines roar to press?".
I've seen slot time and time again on the sidelines instructing them to press and move forward etc.
Now you can say, he's lost the dressing room or they don't respect him. You can talk about the day's off and training etc.
But for player's vastly overpaid I will never accept the slot excuses.
All of this season has been put on slot and I don't accept it.
I look at various player's and think, you'd be on the to go list or at least benched under Klopp or another top manager.
Slots not suited for us, that is clear. But many of these player's are not Liverpool player's and I'll mention Curtis Jones.
Curtis Jones is getting the sympathy support from many fans with slot being blamed for him wanting out. There has been too many performances by Jones now where he's not even half bothered on the pitch. That's worthy of being out on the out list.
Then you can mention the obvious names who have been woeful.
But take away slot, and that squad is winning you nothing next season.
Virg and Salah are close to finished now. Both carried us last season. Allison is never available.
We need a manager that won't tolerate what's been tolerated for too long.

I've been saying the same all season, Ron. I want a change of coach, but I don't buy into the view that a new coach comes in and we get back to winning trophies. Most of the players have let us down big time this season. Rather than me ramble on, there's only Szoboszlai who comes out of the season with any credit.
Folk who think everything will be dandy once Slot's gone need to take a reality check. There is so much that needs sorting, and it's not all Slot's doing.

Needless to say I agree with Ron's post. Kelleher, Trent, Quansah, Tsimikas, Elliott, Diaz, Jota and Nunez are gone from last year's title win. Morton too, who although hardly played last year, probably would have taken Macca's place this year.
Not saying these players are better than the ones signed. Just saying it's a different squad somewhat, with nearly double digit amounts of title winners leaving the building.

Florian, so if all them title winners have left, n now we are left with Slot's signing n methods, does thay mean he won the title with Klopp's players and how they played. But he has messed up this season with how he wanted us to play, so basically he is out of his depth.

Despite the fact that I wasn't keen on half the summer signings, I still believe 2 pacey, effective wingers and a manager who can get the best out Wirtz absolutely transforms this team.

I think we are missing a few key ingredients in the squad, but there are many ingredients already there, which Slot is simply not getting anywhere close to the potential out of.
When Klopp took over, the same players looked almost instantly better.
I expect similar with a preseason of fitness and better tactics of a new manager. The manager has had the worst performance this season.
The players are capable of far more.

Didn't push Kelleher, Trent, Jota,
or Diaz out. Tsimikas and Nunez would have been 3rd choice in their position, and was under the impression Elliott, Jarell and Tyler wanted to go to get 1st team football.

Ok, we should just keep players to be 3rd choice or if they are not going to play. C'mon, with any other manager this is normal practice. But with Slot it's sinister and they were pushed. The likes of Quansah and Morton have been on record to say how happy they are playing every week. Elliott left to do the same, only it didn't work out.
{Ed001's Note - you were the one that tried to claim it wasn't on Slot as he lost a lot of the players from last season. It is not sinister, why make up lies? No one but you said that. Slot didn't lose a lot of players from the squad, he chose to remove them, it is a totally different thing.}

If I post about the sky been blue is it going to be jumped on as making excuses for Slot? Someone posted this group won the league last year and all I did was list some players that left. Nine it was. A decent amount. Like in a thread talking about Wirtz above I never mentioned Slot.
Seriously, are we all meant to have the same opinions on every matter for fear of every post you make in a thread (a lot not even about Slot) been shot down as "ah yeh whatever, you love Slot"? Ridiculous.
