Watching the game and hard not to be impressed by the work Iraola has done at Bournemouth.
Context is a team achieving above expectations and without extreme pressure and spotlight of a big club playing across 4 comps.
Small part of me wonders how much City celebrated their FA Cup win. They looked very leggy.
Not to take away from Bournemouth who were fantastic all match.
Firms it up that if the only option is a manager looking for the next step up then Iraola leads the pack for me.

Bournemouth and Iraola did great this season. Lost 3 of their first choice back four and their first choice keeper in the summer, and lost their best player in January. And yet they still qualified for Europe for the first time in their history.

Truly a dark day for football. Sides like Arsenal are setting the game back bit by bit every year. For every Jurgen Klopp, there seems to be a dozen Simeone or Mourinho clones. It's boring and negative football, and I hate that it got rewarded with a league title.

Arsenal winning the league is nothing more than a sign that the other traditional top teams absolutely stink.
They've won with 82 points playing some of the worst football seen by a winning team in the PL, and they won't be getting any better under Arteta.
However, all of that is way better than Pep and his cheating employers scamming another treble with the most flawed team he's ever had.

Arsenal fully deserved the title. They might have won it ugly at parts, but the history books will show they won it.
Us, Villa or Bournemouth will have deserved to finish 5th and will be thankful to the 9 Premier League clubs who performed in Europe this season to gain the 5th CL place.

Slot out, and a few additions to the squad, and I can't see why we can't challenge. The league quality is the worst it's been in my lifetime, I think people will see truly how poor Slot is when he's finally gone, the bulk of this squad is fantastic, it just lacks guidance. The lads look lost on the pitch, there's no system or direction.
