What a day!! Finally some light at the end of this Man City breaches debacle.
Eds - hows about a poll on how we think Man City should be punished? Points deduction, Fine, Demotion etc? Curious to see what everyone considers would be a just punishment?
{Ed033's Note -
Man City poll
25 Sep 2026 16:01:23
I'm a need an all of the above option :P.
25 Sep 2026 16:05:12
I pressed all 3, depending on severity of guilt, why can't all 3 be punishment?
There's got to be severe punishment if guilty, to stop Billionaires from getting away with this in future.
Or investment companies etc.

Too late I don't care now.
25 Sep 2026 16:19:52
I personally hope they strip City of the titles but leave them blank. I don't want them for this club and having no name on them tells a better story for the future IMO.
25 Sep 2026 16:25:41
I'm with Johnny on this!
Strip them of all titles & cup wins - leave the winner as blank - demotion to Div 2 and a 2 year transfer ban.
25 Sep 2026 16:43:42
Let them on the City pages cry and moan about it. Nothing to us and we don't want to be gifted titles.
25 Sep 2026 16:45:00
I'm with Johnny and Bristol. Reminds me of Lance Armstrong but I wonder if there will be lifetime bans for those responsible here too?
25 Sep 2026 16:54:56
Strip them of all titles won
Expulsion from the Premier League
£1billion fine
10 year transfer ban
Open legal action for affected clubs
Absolute stain on the game - the Lance Armstrong of football.

Conference League for starters, that's the reason Guardiola left, the rats are always the first to leave a sinking ship.
Teams who finished PL runners up to them, should rightfully be awarded as Champions that season, that would give us circa 4 extra titles in Jurgens era alone.
And give Stevie Gerrard a PL title at last as LFC finished runners up to them in 2013-14 also when guilty.
Poor old man United we would have 24 PL titles and them 20, all thanks to their cheating neighbours, could not have happened to a better set of supporters LMAO.
25 Sep 2026 16:59:49
And this is just the start.
UEFA will be licking their lips at this, because it proves Citeh's evidence at CAS was false - meaning whoever gave it committed perjury.
It's essentially fraud. UEFA will look to throw the book at them once the PL are done.
25 Sep 2026 17:06:00
Agree with jonny and others - I don't want those titles (albeit I'm sure Spurs and Chelsea will!) leave them blank and expunge from their history.
I'd be interested to see how this poll plays on the Man City page, but I guess that will only give us Harry's view.
25 Sep 2026 17:07:52
Don't want them 007, completely meaningless imo. The joy in winning is the end of the season after the ups and downs. That cannot be replicated, leave it as no winner. However where does that leave the relegated teams, or teams who missed out on Europe? This thing is about to get very messy quickly in my opinion.
25 Sep 2026 17:48:05
I think the titles should be awarded to runners up. Just like the Olympics when they find out cheating occurred after the fact they strip the gold and hold an entire medal ceremony.
25 Sep 2026 17:52:42
Waste of time fining them, they grow money on trees
points and relegations
life time bans.
25 Sep 2026 17:58:57
They should just be kicked out of the football league. Let them pick up again in non league.
It wasn't just financial doping on a massive scale but there have been deliberate attempts to conceal what they did and at no stage have they shown any contrition or remorse.
{Ed666's Note - At least we’re not talking about Florian frigging Wirtz now ?

It'll be interesting to see what the panel determining the punishment give their ruling and then, I suspect, we can expect City to appeal and it will drag on. It'll also be interesting to see how the other clubs are compensated. Clubs will not only have missed out on League and Cup wins because City cheated but they will have lost out a great deal of money by missing Euro qualifications an$ money for PL league positions etc.
One thing's for certain, it's still a long way from finished just yet.
25 Sep 2026 18:48:12
I think an apt punishment should be the compulsory change of name to Manchester Cheats FC.
25 Sep 2026 19:57:31
They can't simply be demoted, there is a difference between the football league and the Premiership, they are 2 separate entities.
I would like at least 1 point deducted per charge spread over the total lifespan of all the charges so from 09-2023 around 14 years give or take, or more simply the next decade. that would be at least -11 points starting each season which pretty much guarantees they won't get another 100 point season and means the moment they lose more than 3 games a season, they are 96% not winning the league.
They won't ever give the trophies to second place etc in my mind, but they should absolutely strip them of every bit of silverware they won in their fraudulent periods.
Ideally this will leave city with a 10 year gap where no one will want to join because they simply stand no chance of winning the league.
I hope that LFC and United particularly go after them for lost revenue. Given Burnley got £35m from Everton, the sponsorships and the lost revenue from winning 3 possible prems must be taken into account. I'd expect City to take this to a curt of law and lose, but just drag out the process. your're talking at least £100M each in damages likely to United and LFC. which City should not be exempt from entering as part of their squad cost ratios or ffp. Again hamstringing them in the future (which should entice them to bit the bullet now and pay both clubs off not to go to court)
This is all fantasy though as we know the PL is weak as Carlsberg and likely they'll just get 40 point deduction 1 season and a £50m fine.
25 Sep 2026 19:59:39
Stripped of titles needs to be on that poll as well. If they don't get stripped of titles, then all you're doing is saying your allowed to cheat to win. Fines, points deductions, and relegation don't matter and effect different people than those who cheated. For me they have to be stripped of all titles.
25 Sep 2026 19:26:32
Ed666, you ain't lying.
Bobby, may I propose a mosaic at Anfield with the world "C-H-E-A-T-S" when we play City in a couple of weeks, perhaps?
26 Sep 2026 09:18:36
@PBN, they can be kicked out of the PL and they would then have to apply to the FA to accept them into the FA structure.
I'd start them in the lowest division in the north west supported by the FA. I do have to declare that in this case I am completely vindictive ?. I'd be happy to turn up and stand on the touchline in a public park in Moss Side to offer them words of advise on the benefits of procreation and travel.
26 Sep 2026 10:03:51
OliRed, you may propose it but we have more class than that.
Why are you so angry about it? And everything else, for that matter?
You ok?
