Hi Ed001 - been visiting this site for many many years and I have never seen it so chaotic. I was wondering if you could give a list of rumoured ins and rumoured outs. Doesn’t have to be nailed on, just something to cut through the bulk. No need for explanations on why.

Ins
Isak - possible but difficult, looking at other options just in case. Newcastle need to replace him, which they are struggling to do, so are not happy to let him go.
Guehi - some say it is done, some say it is close. 1 year left on his contract and he is not signing another one, so Palace are very willing sellers. Looks very probable right now.
Rodrygo - lots of rumoured interest, I don't know anything about it though, other than he is rumoured to be an option.
Ait Boudlal/Zeze/Leoni - all options to replace Quansah as 4th choice centre-back. Young and all possible. No idea which it will be.
Malick Fofana - an alternative to Rodrygo. Has been watched repeatedly and tracked for a while. Very young and raw but impressed in Europe last season. Both he and his agent have referred to Liverpool as his dream move and the one he wants. If we move for him, there should be no difficulty getting him. He has already rejected interest from elsewhere in the Prem in the hope we will move for him this summer.
Gordon - rumours have begun linking him again, but it just seems like recycled stories to bait for clicks.
Outs
Diaz - closing in on a move to Bayern, been agitating for a move for a couple of years now and was second choice to Gakpo last season on the left. Very much probable as all parties are happy to make the move happen. Rodrygo/Fofana seem to be the options to replace him, though Ekitike could potentially play there as well.
Konate - last year of contract and stalling. Some expect him to stay, I am not so sure as he has been making eyes at PSG for a while and now Real Madrid are showing interest too. I think Guehi could well be his replacement.
Tsimikas - rejected all offers so far.
Robertson - is happy at Liverpool, like Tsimikas and is so far not receiving any offers he is interested in.
Ramsay - surplus but so many injuries his value has plummeted and interest in him is small. Might end up going out on loan to try and earn a move.
Bajcetic - injured and unlikely to go anywhere this summer because of that.
Morton - fair bit of interest, no really firm offers yet but I have an inkling West Ham will take him. Potter likes him but the poison porn dwarf Sullivan has assumed control of transfers again and is not listening to Potter, so I could well be wrong on that. He would be perfect for their mid though, suits the Potter style and their fans would love him once he settled in.
Elliott - a lot of interest, especially after he starred for England U21s in the summer. It is going to come down to what he wants. He might fancy going abroad, so he doesn't have to play against us, but if he stays in England, I could see him replacing Gibbs-White at Forest.
Chiesa - almost certainly returning to Italy. He did want to stay and fight for his place but he has been told he is surplus and there are a few options there for him. It was a strange move, really hasn't worked out at all sadly.
Doak - Liverpool will sell for the right price, but I expect him to go on loan again instead. I really do not see anyone meeting the asking price.
Nunez - being pushed towards Arabia, as they have offered a very good price for him. He would prefer Spain so he is hanging on for that. I don't expect him to stay at all, it is just finding someone with enough dosh to buy him that actually wants him. Was offered to Newcastle to help solve their striker problem, but so far they are not biting as they know we want to use him as a part-ex for Isak.}

Sorry if I’m having a blonde moment Ed, but if Newcastle need to replace Isak, wouldn’t it make sense for them to consider Núñez? It doesn’t necessarily have to be a part-exchange, does it? If they’re already looking at strikers to take his place, why not go for Núñez? They could still negotiate a high fee with us for Isak as a separate deal.
{Ed001's Note - it might make sense to us because we want to sell him, but do they want him anyway? It might come down to him being their only option the way it is going, but they are not exactly keen.}

Great post ed, i second how busy the page is I can’t seem to keep up with things I commented on, has the page length gotten smaller too or is it just moving so fast?
Also Luca Stephenson what’s the plan with him? Done brilliantly at barrow and Dundee young player of the season and played 9 different positions, our new Milner? He excites me the most out of our youngsters apart from rio of course.
{Ed001's Note - moving too fast, I don't think it has gotten smaller but you would need ed33 for that, as he deals with it all.
Stephenson is being looked at now to decide what to do with him this season. He could well end up being the cover at centre back.}

Cheers for the update ed! Do you expect Guehi to sign regardless if Konate leaves or not? I would be happy with him as 3rd choice cb but im sure he would want assurances of game time.

Ed, been reading since the macca days always forget the password but rarely comment. how did the site come along and how did each ed especially ed002 become the great man he was? Always looked towards his transfer breakdowns the knowledge was unquestionably scary he was one of a kind! Yourself in a different way has a knowledge of the insides of a club that we don't have keep it up eds and posters YNWA.
{Ed001's Note - ed33 was at college studying how to make websites or coding or something techy like that and wanted to build a website but didn't know what subject to do it on. We used to train together and I came up with the idea of football rumours as there was nothing like it then. Initially I would write the content down on paper, most of the time while at work, and give it to him to type up as I had no Internet access or computer back then in 2001. A few years later, ed2 was on the site posting and we got chatting on the site, we disagreed about Liverpool's financial mess at the time under Gillett and Hicks. I couldn't believe it was as bad as he claimed, but he was right and I was wrong. We just got chatting in emails etc and then he came on board to help. It was about a year later when we went with Ed numbers so people could tell us apart. I am not sure when that all was now, but it was still during the G&H era.}

Ed002 had allot to say, and it all started turning out to be true. It was how he spoke as well. What a man! Was addicted from then!

I honestly cannot remember how long I've used this site, never posted too much, still somewhat infrequent on that lol but I remember when Harry was just called Harry Scouser, kid millions posted a fair bit too and MK Scouser posted as Adam something - fair few other names too lol
