I just spoke to a friend that works at Man United sponsorship dept (it's been a great year sending him memes, I've never know him so quiet), they believe they've got Sesko.
05 Aug 2025 22:38:33
I believe I’ve got I don’t give a s$&@ syndrome.
05 Aug 2025 23:14:34
Thunderbird 2 you should care Bicester off they get sesko it means Newcastle do not. That's a problem for us getting Isak. Can't see Newcastle selling until they have a replacement.
05 Aug 2025 23:34:24
Tikka, we don't know what situation Thunderbird is in right now. He could be dangling off a cliff by one arm, clinging on for dear life. Let's give him the benefit of the doubt for not having Sesko top of his thoughts right now.
PS. If that is indeed your situation Thunderbird, solid commitment to the site to post with your free hand rather than call for help.

Sesko is definitely going to united he’s played Newcastle like a fiddle and therefore Isak is in a real situation now where he has to submit a transfer request.
Will we get him I’m not so sure as the Geordies are going to be very peed off and I can see the owners making Isak suffer with disappointment.
06 Aug 2025 02:15:49
If I'm Newcastle I'd be keeping isak. You can't let your star player go when you can't even replace him in a season when you're hoping to build on the previous one.
Even an unhappy isak is better than having nobody to replace him.
06 Aug 2025 02:55:47
Sorry, I get confused. How did Sesko play Newcastle like a fiddle?
06 Aug 2025 03:00:27
I'm just extremely impressed that Thunderbird is able to unlock his phone, navigate to this website, taking the time to write such a powerful and thought provoking message about his thoughts on the sesko to united fiasco, all while dangling off a cliff with one hand.

Thunderbird 2 hanging on to a cliff? Thunderbird 4 to the rescue.

@Nevada, i don’t know about that - certainly Coutinho, Suarez and more recently TAA’s departure were pretty disruptive in their own ways. Isak staying could follow the path of Coutinho’s bad back which leaves the club with a bit of a dilemma.
If I were a Newcastle fan, or someone within the club, even, I’d want him gone asap. It’s inevitable now that he’ll go sooner or later and I’d make sure he went for his full market value) and either bring in a replacement if possible or tap players up - sorry assess viable options for the striker’s role - for the January window.
06 Aug 2025 05:31:52
Delap: no
Cuhna: no
Joao Pedro: no
Ekitike: no
Mbuemo: no
Sesko: probably no
Wissa: still on but more likely Wilson replacement
Ramos: maybe?
Muani: maybe?
Mikautadze: maybe?
Newcastle still have a few possibilities to explore, but let's not shy away from saying its been a disaster of a transfer window so far.

Haven’t Newcastle known for at least two weeks Isak wanted out. Rumours they knew during the season. Just feels pretty amateurish from Newcastle considering their owners. Should have gone in with a stronger bid and sooner. blew united out of the water. Know they missing some key senior staff but come on their owners aren’t amateurs.
{Ed025's Note - you cant blame Newcastle for wanting to keep their best players Sukhyral, if you were in the same position and being bullied into disrupting your side by a bigger club im sure you would be doing the exact same thing mate..
06 Aug 2025 06:12:38
Ollie watkins / Jackson to Newcastle, and if all else fails, Darwin.
06 Aug 2025 06:17:31
Where's Balotelli and Lambert when you need them. ???.
06 Aug 2025 07:24:44
Watkins won't go, any if he did would be extremely underwhelming. Absolutely no room for development, and reasonably limited as it is.
06 Aug 2025 08:26:15
Newcastle need to take the Bournemouth / Brighton approach, it is the only way ahead for them, unless they want to overpay for sub-standard players.
06 Aug 2025 09:15:25
In fairness Ed, we’ve been there with Sterling, Suarez, Coutinho, where each one of those players wanted to go elsewhere and became toxic within the squad, the best decision is always to get shot of a player who doesn’t want to be there and get some money in. Coutinho being the best example as it had a transformative impact on us, if we didn’t sell Coutinho we’d probably not have signed van Dijk, Alisson and Fabinho, who turned us from also rans to title winners as we’d not have won the league or the champions league without that spine.
06 Aug 2025 09:23:03
Newcastle owners must be seething at the moment .
Their best player wants out and everyone else they’ve tried to sign is not interested.
And if they do eventually sign someone who their fans consider a ‘last resort’ type player … they’ll face their wrath too.
06 Aug 2025 07:24:52
Thanks Ed, I do get that. Really feel for Newcastle too, had a fantastic season deservedly beat in the League Cup final, great manager who has handled Isak situation really well. There could still be a situation where Isak starts the season at Newcastle. Just feel they knew they were possibly losing two forwards this season, and maybe moved faster with signings. I say all that as Red who wants them to get a replacement in fast so we can get Isak in Liverpool shirt. Purely selfish from me Ed that’s all.
{Ed025's Note - i cant blame you Sukhyral, i just wish there was a bit more integrity in the game though mate, it seems players have no sense of loyalty these days and if somebody comes in for them they are willing to down tools at the drop of a hat or go all sulky until they get what the y want, but i suppose it could be me being a dinosaur..
