Carra, can you enlighten on why this deal has taken so long? Liverpool are happy to pay, Isak is desperate to move.
Are we simply giving Newcastle all the time they want to get a replacement, or perhaps Newcastle just won’t sell without at least one new striker.

The constant need for information is what's been draining. obviously we have to wait and see if it all gets sorted but Carra has given the same information for the past month. That Newcastle need to sign replacements before isak moves. Nothing has changed. He even said back then that it could be a long wait and not happen till the end of the window/ after the game.

I mean, at this point, the range of the fee is likely the worst kept secret in England. I assume getting the replacement in before announcing to avoid buyout hikes was the original plan, but I can't see that being an issue now. Everyone seems to know the rough numbers, haha.
