It’s good to see a reset in this aspect of the coaching, if something is not working change it.
I can’t recall which coach we had when our set piece record was at its recent best but we have proved we can do a lot better offensively as well as on the defensive side of things.

I believe Briggs was an internal move after a failure to secure an experienced set piece coach. I’m not sure under what conditions he moved into that role in the first place but I hope he was dealt with fairly by the club.

Good, we've been rank at defending them, so if a specialist coach isn't doing their job, they need to go.
I agree the fitness team needs looking at as the fact a lot of players don't hsve the condition to complete 90 minites is a huge concern too.

@Rsanchez - are you sure that Slot was responsible for hitting the man? Are you also sure that Slot was the man who fired him? Interesting that so many of us think it’s a good thing, also interesting that those who slag the club off daily never mentioned the bloke and wouldn’t recognise the bloke if 5hey bumped into him in the street.
Of course everybody must have an opinion on everything I guess.

Anybody who has MacAlister trying to body check the opposition's biggest player on set pieces deserves to be relieved of his duties.

Not sure what you make of this ed001 but makes me a little uneasy.
Fella was meant to be the development coach gets moved to this and then jettisoned. Feels a bit like a scapegoat (and I appreciate our set pieces are terrible like) .
{Ed001's Note - I said as much on youtube mate, he is not a set-piece coach and should not have been shafted after filling in for us. Why not just return him to working as a development coach?}

The lad never came to the club as set piece coach it was forced on him so the clubs a bit out of order there.
The club wanted the Feyenoord set piece coach.
but could not get a work permit for him.

@Rsanch, Whoops, #hiring, not #hitting, although I suppose it might have helped if he had. The point still stands - was Slot responsible for the hiring and firing or were just assuming he was to ‘validate’ your slagging off of Slot?
