I do reckon we'll sign an English player in summer, simply because it looks like Gomez and Jones might be off. Not sure it'll be Rogers though, even though he's a top player.

Wish we'd bought Rogers last summer instead of spending £125m on Isak tbh. He and Wirtz can definitely dovetail nicely between the lw and 10. Get someone with electric pace on the rw, like Diomande, and we'll fly. That said, I think this interest is old news, and he's unlikely to be a key target for this summer.

Rogers makes absolutely zero sense. Wirtz & Szoboszlai are both attacking midfielders, so there is no point signing another one. He's not a winger, and he doesn't have the flat-out pace that we're lacking. Plus, Villa will ask a lot more than £80m.

"Rogers makes absolutely zero sense." He's homegrown, and we have a problem there. He can play anywhere across the 3 in a 4-2-3-1. He scores goals. He's a quality player. Makes plenty of sense.
