Hi all,
Big change from what I'm hearing the last few days.
As it stands, Alonso will not be coming in. Nor will Hoeness or anybody for that matter. Which means of course, all signs point to Slot staying. FSG seem to be giving their man a vote of confidence heading into next season. Not sure this is the correct choice but it's what I'm hearing.
Unless his family has agreed to move here, I'm not sure how this settles his desire to move back home.

Just absolutely deflating.
I was unhappy he has been allowed to stay past Xmas, but was accepting it would be end of the season.
Absolutely no idea what on earth any of those muppets have seen to warrant him being given another season, or indeed a new contract.
Absolutely nothing to look forward to for the foreseeable future watching this dross.

It's GvB and Hulahoff's fault that this season went to s***. They are training the team after all. Surely can't be Slot's fault that they can't make the team play well while he is back home with the family.

Horrendous news, I hope and pray we get Carra's outcome.
Even when Slot gets a result, the football is woeful, and there's no connection between him, the city, the fans, or even the players, it seems.
Another 2 years of this fills me with dread.

Plus, we aren't guaranteed CL football yet.
The last 4 games aren't going to be easy.
Plus, if the rumours of Spike and GvB leaving then surely Slot follows. I can't believe they are doing the Rodgers trick again, surely they learnt something from then.

Apparently, now rumours saying we getting Heitinga back, probably that's why Slot is defo staying. But, my question will be, why getting Heitinga back now instead of mid-season to save the season? If FSG always back Slot, so why only getting Heitinga now?

I love all the ITK rumours, but I'm quite settled about Slot leaving. There is no way anybody in the club is happy at how this season has been, that includes the bosses, the players n the fans.
If Slot stays, I can see us chasing 4th again, but our play will be worse. The players have already downed tools n so have most of the fans. Definitely be a new manager in for the start of the season.

Don't care if his family is moving over here or not! Boring football won't change to something progressive if he sees his wife every day. If he stays, he stays. We cannot do anything about it, even if I want him to go. We shall see if something drastic happens with respect to the style of play, or it will be another sucky season like this.
I have spent enough years of my life watching us play rubbish football, after which Klopp spoilt us, and now, if we have to go back to this, it, too, shall pass in due course.

Not a hope is Slot staying. I don't doubt you nor your source VG, in fact, quite the opposite, I appreciate all that you post, but it doesn't make any sense whatsoever that Slot stays. They've made moves to secure Alonso, and Slot has created a disconnect between all and sundry, and along with all of that is our horrendously poor season, which didn't at all accommodate any of our signings to the best of their abilities.
FSG are here for winning. They see what Klopp gave the club. They see the difference between him and Slot, and they see they can do better. Which they will. He's out. imo.

We'll see, KBL. My money is on him leaving. There's zero advantages for the club in him staying. There's better out there including their first choice candidate post Jurgen. If it's that clear to me it's certainly clear to the decision people. Only my opinion, of course.

I can't believe anyone with an ounce of football knowledge would stick with Slot and his utterly boring negative football.
Every loss, and there's been plenty of them, he's blamed the low block. Sick of the slow boring tactless football. This clown in charge next season, will see us become another Tottenham.
